I think part of the issue is that nobody posts anymore on the spoiler thread and perhaps some people don’t know there is one.

Is the spoiler thread meant for posting things that aren't spoilers then?

You want me to spell it out to you? Fine, I’ve got nothing else to do until 11. If the spoiler thread was active and people were aware of it they would be more likely to post spoilers on there, and tbh I believe @sodastreamer re that what @flyingdream posted was a spoiler.

Well my post got deleted for quoting a deleted thread and I didn't even mention the family referred to.
All I wrote about was the head being in the wrong place, saying one of the characters had mentioned it and it was just gossip, rumours. Chinese whispers. And they'd referred to the body as 'he'.
I was still harping on about how did they know it was Tina so soon. Would the body still even have fingerprints?

@Thymeout your post would have just been deleted because of referring to the one MNHQ deleted I think; it's happened to me on other threads. The bit about the head wasn't in any way a spoiler as one of the characters mentioned it in a previously aired episode.

I'm sorry that people are upset , the spoiler thread on telly addicts is hardly used for EE, but it does exist somewhere!!
I hope people stay on this one , it's just a generally ' rule ' that we don't write about an episode until it's aired.
I know it's so hard with so many spoilers about on tv and in tv mags and online etc etc. it's difficult to avoid upcoming stories really.
I hope we can move on now and keep our group together, we generally like to have a laugh about our silly soap ! The thread is a nice one.
It's annoying when they move it around for footie .. !!

I've been on here for ages, it's always fun to read people's comments about the weird, wonderful and downright unbelievable life of Albert Square. Whenever the thread fills up, the new one always requests no spoilers ... unfortunately it happens all too often but we live in hope!

Spoilers don't bother me to be honest, but it's just a general rule for this particular thread.
I hope we can keep it lighthearted and fun :
It is funny reading people's views on a character or story and we all agree that some of the storylines can be ridiculous or even confusing !! Plus I've even learnt things too about certain situations the writers seem to 'air brush ' over.
I think I'd give up with it if it wasn't for Mumsnet plus I've watched it since the start too ( for my sins !) watched them grow up !! 😂

The masoods have never been mentioned by anyone (Eastenders team) as coming back. I wish they do. Again that's what I posted before and it's something that I hope happens.

Linda Henry (Shirley) is such a good actress and so underused. It was good to see her on top form last week.

I did have to laugh when Nancy told Zack that she was going to see Zsa Zsa to break the news of Tina's death - he asked when she was leaving (alone and on her crutches) and she said 'tomorrow', well of course, the only other answer would have been 'tonight'.

I'm loving Keegan and Bailey's attempts to organise their dad's love life. Have they given up on trying to get Mitch back with Karen?

@southeastdweller I agree, Linda Henry is just so believable yet I can't remember when she had her own storyline. She just seems to be in the pub to assist the other actors, whereas someone like Whitney seems to be involved in so much!

Also, why are the 'extras' such as Marie and Shrimpy being given lines now? It was weird how they never spoke so it's good it's happening.

I had crutches once many years ago and could barely get up the stairs ( had to go up and down on my bottom !) you make tea or food then realize you can't carry it anywhere ( it's the little things !!) let alone go over to France.
Zsa Zsa ( Tina's daughter ) was a very pretty girl. I wonder if she'll make a reappearance? I think she was in the E 20 spin off too I think.

@Fantasea I giggled at that too, they never have to worry about minor details like booking a flight or arranging work, - just hop on a plane.

Shirley has forgotten she has other kids; it's all about Mick now. Agree that Linda Henry is a good actor though, and very underused. They've spent years sitting her on a bar stool looking sour rather than giving her decent story lines
