And poor Mick. Bloody Rainie is like a dog with a bone sometimes. She just never lets it go 😬

Akire · 13/01/2022 20:10

It sure how Dana and Bobby made it up stairs for 20 seconds with no sign of Van of armed police or dad. Where were they all hiding? Least that’s the story line finished.

Justjoinedforthis · 13/01/2022 20:15

Yessss finally!! I would have preferred some Street Justice but that will do.

Justjoinedforthis · 13/01/2022 20:16

Maybe Grey can represent Aaron

Aquarius1234 · 14/01/2022 00:08

Hardly any big characters leave out the blue.
So even if I never read spoilers I'd pretty much realise a few weeks or months before anyway. The build up and Demise of the character. Or the planning on running away or doing something so bad they need to leave. Or just general sudden changes that seem like they won't be in it much longer.....

PinkDaydreams · 14/01/2022 09:59

Catching up on last night's episode, Dotty is surely using Vinny? I feel sorry for him, glad Keegan had a word but doesn't look like he will listen

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/01/2022 12:01

Thank god Aaron has gone

Well done Harvey

How does binning afford to pay ditty’s rent

I know, right? He only has a phone repair stall in the laundrette...whilst she pretty much runs the nightclub. How is it that he can afford rent and she can't?!? 🥴

It seems to be a common trend amongst all the Albert Square residents though. Even those with a job never have any money and have to stay with family for free.

What happened to Kat, Jean and Stacey's cleaning business? Did that all fall apart when Mo left/Stacey went to prison/Kat started Kat's cabs? 🧐

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/01/2022 12:25

Binning and ditty 😂😂

Glad you knew what I meant

Yes the cleaners have seemed to stop

Tho again how did the cleaning they did pay 4 of them

Big mo. Stacey. Kat and Jean

All nonsensical bonkers imho!
mrswhiplington · 14/01/2022 19:57

Glad Aaron isn't coming to Manchester, we've had enough EE cast offs up here thanks. Smile

I saw Janine in "Lie With Me". Really good.

I think Karen is the best character in the show. She always makes me laugh.

Akire · 14/01/2022 20:59

I’m confused what does Ben want to do??

Meredusoleil · 14/01/2022 21:22

Such a messed up episode if you ask me!

Bobby has decided his faith is more important than the woman he loves...she had decided her family were mire important than the man she loved.

Rainie on one hand gets Mick to support her by admitting the truth to Max, whilst on the other telling him to step up and help Linda instead if stepping away!

I wonder how that's going to look to Linda when Mick spills the beans 🤨

Then you have Ben who is now so shaken to the core about nearly losing Callum as well as Paul that he has retreated into survival mode and decided he wants to be a covert gay man rather than out and proud.

I mean seriously. What are the writers on at the moment? Have they been sniffing glue or something 🙃

Akire · 14/01/2022 21:26

Poor Ben do feel sorry for him after attack must want just not be openly gay anymore. Nice to see Pam she was on Vera as well last week.

What makes Raine think Max will hand over one baby for another?? I mean he just have both surely or is it give up granddaughter for his “own” daughter?

KingofQueens · 14/01/2022 22:03

I'm confused. Twice Ben has said that if he had been there he would have protected Paul. But he was there? They were both beaten up by the gang. Another case of ignoring what has previously happened.

And yes, what a stupid storyline, with Pam arguing for Ben to closest himself.

Akire · 14/01/2022 23:44

Yes he was there at the time. Stupid writers! Feel sorry for Phil though not time Ben have a crisis when he’s got few weeks sort out crime paper work before he’s going doooown.

No he wasn't. They where chased and went in separate directions

They got separated and beaten up separately
Justjoinedforthis · 15/01/2022 10:21

I found that whole episode quite weird too. The main issue was that originally Bobby was not fussed at all about Dana not being Muslim, and that they were both aware she was just going to mosque to support him, so obviously she would not need her headscarf if that had split up? It wasn’t like she had pretended otherwise, or maybe I misunderstood something. I think Pam and Aaron are both v good actors.

iknowimcoming · 15/01/2022 10:48

Only caught up on a few episodes this morning - but I actually felt quite emotional seeing Pam again! Maybe it's because she can actually act unlike a lot of the others Grin I too heard the spoiler on radio 1 news - bloody irritating! Janine seems to have vanished since moving in with Sonia - does she still work at the pub? And yes finally Harvey has done the right thing and graaaaaaassed on Aaron! Will Aaron being nicked reassure Ben maybe?

And what's with Phil asking Lola when she's moving back in? Did the fire refurb create another six bedrooms in his house? By my reckoning currently living there are him and Kat, her 3 boys plus Scarlett, Stacey, Lily, Hope & Arfur, and Jean! Oh and Eve too Confused so if kat and Phil have a room, maybe the 4 boys could share with 2 sets of bunk beds, Scarlett, lily and hope could share, if Stacey, Eve and Jean all share too that would be 4 bedrooms minimum! So that's 12 people in that house atm and he wants Lola and lexi to move in! I know it's not real but come on EE Hmm

In other news I did see on SM that they've just begun filming on the new set - which I thought they already had hence Phils fire/redecorating unless that was old news I saw maybe?

Akire · 15/01/2022 10:55

The housing always been stupid. There’s no extra storyline having them all living together as no room them all sit together never mind chat. We only see Kat and Phil or Kat and Stacey in quiet living room. Just as easily do that in their own home. No 7 kids screaming over cereal or queue for bathroom in morning. Was going say no laundry drying in every room but maybe she’s got arrangement with Karen and has free use of washing machine and dryers as perk of the job!

DiscordandRhyme · 15/01/2022 10:58

I'm thinking Bobbys reaction is out of fear too. He may feel that the whole family is prejudiced in some way, including Dana? Makes sense that he'd want to separate a

DiscordandRhyme · 15/01/2022 11:02

No idea what happened there.

I completely get where Pam and Ben are coming from, as well as Callum.

People can be cruel.

In essence the episode was about prejudice, full stop. It shows that many don't see it, because they are not a member of the targeted population.

StationaryMagpie · 15/01/2022 12:26

i hate that they're doing this to Ben.. they've turned him into some weakling. I know he's never been his dad, but he's never been this bloody wet lettuce either.

Wish i knew what the writers were on, i really do.

Aquarius1234 · 15/01/2022 12:31

I can't listen to Ben's voice anymore. Please can the actor quit. And no more Ben's.
