More Corrie ‘excitement’…

He did go over bonnet though and older people bruise more so unlikely just look like he fell over drunk as would be hit on side by car, his back hit the bonnet then landed then back on ground.

MyCatEatsPrawnCrackers · 05/01/2022 11:43

I'm surprised that Ted actually managed to get up after he was knocked over. I'm surprised he died because most people who are mown down by a car in Wetherfield tend to get over it pretty quickly.
Btw, what exactly does Faye actually do at The Factreh?

StEval · 05/01/2022 11:56

@MyCatEatsPrawnCrackers

Ted wasn't drink though, was he? Still an absolute bollocks storyline.
He wasnt but said he broke his leg when he was drunk previously. Why would they look for another reason?
Akire · 05/01/2022 12:04

In sudden death he need autopsy and would discover bruising which have to assume could contribute to death. Even if he died of heart attack say still leaves unexplained set of circumstances.

Akire · 05/01/2022 12:07

Though given his home was undisturbed not sure how much digging and finger printing they would do. Guessing his grandson will notice one crutch is missing so could be the murder weapon?

That false nail which was tiny enough to go down Ted's plug hole will of course clog up the entire u bend which will need to be dismantled
eggandonion · 05/01/2022 13:23

Who is his grandson, big mystery.

WomanStanleyWoman · 05/01/2022 15:37

I’ve just caught up after a few days’ holiday - so much I could say, but not sure I can be bothered. For my next thread title I’m going to need things that rhyme with ‘crap’. (Maybe someone could get the clap?)

I really can’t see where the Emma and Fay storyline is going. It almost seemed to be played as a comedy plot at first - ‘Ooh, I’m glad that delivery bloke never saw me hair was a mess!’ ‘Er, yes, that’s my crutch - I was in fancy dress as Tiny Tim’. Of course - what else would a young black woman choose as a costume? Also, I know I’ve said this before, but why have the writers gone from making Emma ditzy but sweet to unbelievably thick? It’s such a waste of her character.

Frankly, the most exciting part of the new year so far has been the revelation that Dr Gaddas is a lesbian.

Is Jenny’s toy boy young enough to be the grandson?

I missed dr Gadass revealing that. I wish the receptionists would reopen in the health centre.

Akire · 05/01/2022 16:40

It was Steve he teasing Tim about prostate exam saying he often saw he around with her wife and her dog. Hopefully sign she has more story lines.

PinkDaydreams · 05/01/2022 16:51

@WomanStanleyWoman "who is the grandson chap, it's all a load of crap!"

lollipoprainbow · 05/01/2022 17:25

@WomanStanleyWoman I was thinking Ted's dead after a bump on the head but that's as far as I got !!

eggandonion · 05/01/2022 19:01

Do taxis not usually have dashcams?

Akire · 05/01/2022 19:48

Thank goodness fed up hearing about Sarah -Lou’s menstrual cycle.

Aggie is so annoying It’s not even like they are friends or anything. Least they haven’t done Micheal sudden single parent so must fall apart and not cope thing. Glory just going nursery as normal and GP on tap for babysitting.

Shame they didn’t make more story of James BF unless I missed it. He went to London for new job did James go with him or just split up and that was that?

CiaoForDiNiaoSaur · 05/01/2022 19:52

@WomanStanleyWoman something about "Ted seemed like a nice chap. Killing him off was crap"?

Maybe combine it with @lollipoprainbow suggestion...

Wasn't it Peter who told him that?
satci · 05/01/2022 20:44

Was that a condom in Tim's wallet? Seems unlikely

Akire · 05/01/2022 20:44

Peter teased him then he asked Steve later in I think.

Ty will be getting enough rent to pay mortgage on flat with 3 lodgers. He be better off getting loan against house rather than sell.

Lockdownlard · 05/01/2022 20:53

PC Craig’s manspreading in those skinny jeans is enough to make my tea come back up!

CiaoForDiNiaoSaur · 05/01/2022 20:54

That coupled with more detail about Tim and Sally's sex life than anyone needs to know Envy
ToffeeNotCoffee · 05/01/2022 21:00

What's happening with the sale of the Rovers ? I saw the sold sign outside. Then Johnny died. Now Jenny is cavorting with a younger man. (Good on her.)

Akire · 05/01/2022 21:02

Didn’t Jenny and Daisy buy it?

Nice have extra story line but only so many will they find out conversation you can go through.

Lockdownlard · 05/01/2022 21:14

Sally’s pink silk pyjamas and matching robe are obviously the signal for cavorting, thankfully we were spared the sight of Tim in his magnetic catch posing pouch…..

Lockdownlard · 05/01/2022 21:15

More of Dr Gaddass - she could be the Corrie version of Dr Legg Grin
