I suspected Manpreet was faking her memory loss. The utter pish of a scene when Charles came out of the room to let the doctors in and Meena told him that Manpreet had said she didn't want to be resuscitated - as if! Thankfully it didn't come to that with possibly another occasion of people believing every word Meena utters like it's the gospel.

The way she spoke to that doctor- registered nurse or not- there is protocol- surely the doctor would think “woah- who the hell does she think she is setting the rules round here?out you go!”

In manpreet shoes I would call for the doctor, tell them I wanted meena removed from the hospital and call the police. But of course she won’t.

I judge like a bastard the second somebody tries to squeak at me about being a nurse/hcp before telling us how to do our jobs/follow protocols.

True professionals play nicely and wouldn’t dream of butting in in such a way. In my experience the care my patients have received from the aforementioned bleaters before coming in to see us has been sadly lacking.

Yep. Not like she passed loads of hospital staff or saw a doctor before she was discharged to run through her aftercare and could ask for help? no, if meena says it’s hometime then it’s hometime and nobody asks any questions.
