Still can't work out how John got a 40 when he was so obviously out danced by Johannes. How can it have been perfect? And echo that it made the judging of AJs look more wrong

I don't think they got 40 did they?

Goodness, Giovanni is good, isn't he? I know that that Charleston would have been choreographed by someone else, but the final result is down to his tuition, practice, work on expression, synchronicity etc etc, to say nothing of support for his partner.

Motsi and Shirley gave a 10 but they got 9s from Anton and Craig.

I LOVED Georgia & Gio's Charleston. One of the few where the music and the dance worked perfectly together. Quite often the music was like foley effects for the moves they were making.

Strictly just posted a video to the FB page of Kai doing impressions of the judges and other pros. He's really good! Man of many talents.

Looks like Tom and Amy filmed their VT at the theatre where his sister's in Cinderella.

I had no idea Luba and Katya were childhood friends(/rivals). That's so sweet.

Well, I'm watching the interview with Dan and he seems perfectly pleasant and modest.

I have fallen down a rabbithole of Gio and Georgia's dances. Loved their samba too. Gio's hips!

That samba seemed really long compared with today's dances!

And no dancing elephants, cracking floors, or migraine inducing lights! Sigh.

I agree! I was watching the part of the launch show again the other the day, where all the celebs dance for the first time and you can see that Dan has actually improved quite a lot since then. I loved the photo of Nikita's reaction to Craig giving him a 4!

I’ve only started watching Strictly this year and have been enjoying all the YouTube videos of previous dances that people have shared in the threads. If anyone has anymore favourites please share and I’ll go look them up!

riotlady try Harry and Aliona’s Viennese and Quickstep, Anton and Katie’s rumba (yes, really) and Mark Ramprakash and Karen’s salsa.

I'd say pretty much all of Danny and Oti's dances. I spent a glorious day watching them all of may leave a few years ago. Fantastic.

I was really impressed by Debbie McGee’s Argentine tango until I googled her and realised she was a ballet dancer. I had assumed she was a tv presenter and had learnt on strictly to be dropping into splits all over the place xD
