Sorry but Moti, or whoever chooses her outfits, has atrocious taste. I also think she has some very strange hair styles. Last night it looked like she had a loo brush on her head

Going to catch up on thread on moment so apologies for posting before reading but I’ve just finished results show and managed to avoid all hints of spoiler and that was genuinely nerve wracking. Absolutely gutted Sara has done as she was brilliant (yes hit or miss but I loved her). Yet at same time I’m thrilled Tilly is through as I love her too. This series is going to be a struggle for me. I actually love Tilly. She is so composed when ends up in dance off - obviously she’s gutted but she handles herself so well. I Love love love love AJ (thank you all who lass votes for her and saved her!) and Rose (she’s so sweet funny and interesting) and actually I love John too. Especially results show he’s really grown on me. I would love to see them all in final.

I realised my gut reactions when names announced gave a lot away. I was actually vit at Dan going through. He’s obviously got huge base. Then I was actually disappointed Tom made it safe so just can’t take to him at all. He’s ruined his books for me really annoying as just bought third chriatmasurus for my ds for our Xmas book and stuff I’ll be a bag of annoyance at Tom when reading it now Amy’s reaction was ott. I know she mentioned so realised it too but I really can’t take to her. I’ve only watched maybe 3/4 series and every time she’s bugged me. It’s the plastered smile and the “we having such a fun time” speel. She’s so competitive. She’s got the stereotypical face and reaction (smile smile smile for the completion). I haven’t see her documentary so that might change my mind on her if showed her “real” side but on the show she is so fake for me. Sorry if harsh.

I’m quite shocked by that results. I would like Tom, Dan, Rhys to go in that order then Tilly I suppose then I am not sure I can choose between John AJ and Rose.

Oh and how do they judge the dance off when Sara scored 3 more than Tilly in the show. What if AJ was in dance off how would they dance her when they scored her lowest??

They said they always think Motsi looks awful and reckon wardrobe place bets on how awful they can make her look. She never looks 'awful' so it doesn't seem light-hearted to me

So am I not allowed to dislike Tess because she's a woman? I don't like Shirley either when she's getting all damp over any male gyrating his hips.

I do however love Claud, Zoe, Janette, AJ as a presenter I've really grown to like too.

So it's def NOT just because Tess is female. She's irritating and patronising...how many times have we heard "oooh look at his/her little face" seriously, as much as I didn't like Brucie at least he didn't say that shite all the time.

How far did Chris Ramsay get? Dan reminds me a bit of him, just in the strictly sense that he's a complete non dancer, has a fan base and may well over stay his welcome.

I did really like Chris on strictly, but it did start to grate when he started to stick around past other good dancers IMO.

I wouldn't have thought Dan's fanbase would be as big/broad as Chris's was but who knows. All I know is x weeks in I don't want to be watching crap, I want serious moves!

Dan could easily make the final if he manages to avoid the DO. Same for Tom as he has the McFly vote. I think Rose has it in the bag, and I'm hoping that AJ and John will be with her in the final. It could be Rose, Tom and Dan though. Just imagine that 😭

I liked the opening number tonight (but I think they always do a good job of pro dances for Rememberance Sunday as they are usually stripped back ballroom.) I found the bit with Oti and Katja dancing together really moving. It reminded me of my favourite great Aunt who lost her beloved fiance early in the war and never had another man in life so would dance with her sisters.

Rose John and Rhys for final!! Really thought Dan would be out be now. Thought dance off was fair though. One thing that really bugs me is when they ask Shirley how she would have voted, it's like there's no need to rub it in!!!!

We thought she'd fit in well in Whoville. I did hope nobody was sitting directly behind her though! I actually thought she pulled off the fluorescent colour well. I was less keen on the sparkly knee highs though.

I stand corrected! I'd forgotten he'd reached the final, although having reminded myself of the other contestants I don't think it was too bad, although perhaps Ranvir would have been more worthy.

I did really enjoy Jamie's dances, and he really seemed to love the whole process and throw himself into it all. I reckon it would have been a different story had he not injured himself on his first try, I think it would have gone a different way.

I am not a fan of Tess - very lovely looking person but I think she is benefitting from the "if it isn't broken don't fix it POV" Claudia is just so much better ( in my opinion - only mine ) at chatting or interviewing in such a more natural way.

Tess always reminds me of Stepford wives ( but I am sure she is a lovely person )

Tess is lovely when she has no script but I'd rather have Claudia and Zoe presenting. I miss her on ITT.

Well Tilly won't be going, her dad is in the audience.

And what difference would that make? What hold does Gordon Ramsey have over the BBC, the judges or the producers? Are they all so afraid of him that Tilly will be put through to the final? For the love of Mike I can't believe some of the tripe that people actually think. Emma Thompson, arguably more famous than Gordon Ramsey, was in the audience when they chose to pack her husband off home.

And the things people are saying about Dan Walker outstaying his welcome - he is not my favourite and I am not voting for him, but if a contestant is being voted in week after week by the public they aren't outstaying their welcome. (I know you didn't say this, but plenty of others, including @Wolfcub are)

I thought Motsi looked lovely - I always think she does. I love both her and Oti (& Nadiya) - they're my complete girl crushes!

Motsi looks fabulous! She absolutely rocks those outfits! She's also really creative with her hair, the pieces and the wigs. I love her looks.

Stand-out dances for the final?
AJ - jive, AS or charleston
John - paso or tango, rumba
Rose - tango or QS, couple's choice
Tom - salsa, paso
Rhys - charleston

Although I liked Tilly's waltz and Dan's QS, neither of them were breakout dances. I would guess Tilly/Rhys/Dan/Tom out in that order.
