I don't understand how you can dismiss the 'issue' of a deaf competitor, who can't hear the music, making a statement about her experience through dance. I loved it.

Three votes for AJ from me though. Ridiculous judging.

I love Dan and Nadiya's partnership, I liked their routine tonight, but I was torn between voting for him or AJ and his speechifying decided me for AJ. (And Kai's see-through shirt, obviously.)

Rhys's Charleston style was so authentic. I felt like I was watching footage from the 1920s. Definitely his dance.

Didn't get the 10s for John. He's a very neat and polite dancer and I thought he needed a bit more abandon and va-va-voom for the samba.

I have a theory that if you're landed with the squeaky female singer you are jinxed. Compare her rendition of I Won't Dance with Tommy singing it for Danny and Oti. It makes a huge difference.

Didn't love Sara's routine but I was pleasantly surprised by her attempts at technique.

The judging felt very scripted. Ooh, we're being picky and miserable this week so next week, when it's Musicals Week!!!, we can be all cheerful and pretend that everyone's had a major breakthrough.

Craigs point "contemporary dance should gain energy from the floor" was rather good I thought as someone who knows nothing about these things.

I'm voting for AJ tonight.

But it wasn't true contemporary in the feet-facing-the-wrong-way sense, so I think he was actually wrong and it's a shame he chose to ignore the mood especially as his marking had already been questionable.

Don't normally like couples choice, but loved this one.
Didn't like rhys charlston, unusual as it's normally my fave dance.

I thought Rose was lovely again tonight and will be a worthy winner, but I'll be spitting feathers if AJ doesn't make the final. 3 votes for AJ obvs.

I wonder if the judges have given up a bit as whatever he does he seems to go through. The dance itself was ok but he has no charisma or emotion at all imho, she could be dancing with a mannequin.

All my votes for AJ. No way was it the worst dance on the leaderboard. I would have placed it in above Tilly, Tom, Sara and Dan
I fear that if she is in the dance off, she'll be gone as the judges put her in bottom place.

Utter waffle tonight from the judges. Surely even Craig noticed Rhys fumbled and out of time lift towards the end?

Some people saying maybe Rose would not be quite as popular if she wasnt as pretty and petite? Not thought about that. I would say she would still be top 3 but maybe not win if she was more average body and face.
It's true. You can be disabled if you're the right kind of disabled - slim and attractive and happy.

Dan is very clearly the least-good dancer now. His dance was so half-hearted and bland, no personality, no fluidity. Remember Ore's American smooth?
AJ's dance was a bit lacking compared to her usual awesomeness, but no way should she be bottom of the board. I think the lights, distracting dress and poor choice of song did her no favours.
Rhys I feel has been overlooked by the public in the past. This week, his Charleston was very good, great energy and performance value, but there were some clearly dodgy bits - out of time near the beginning, clumsy ends of lifts - so he should have scored 8/9 not 10.
I enjoyed Tilly's and voted 2 x for her and 1 x for AJ. I thought Sara was good, especially from someone with no performance background.
Very hard to predict the dance-off this week.

I would normally be of the opinion that when good competitor does a bad dance then it's unfortunate but fair if they get eliminated, but this year I already know that I want the final 3 to be John, AJ and Rose, so I gave 3 votes to AJ even though I didn't like her dance much at all. I do feel that if she's in the dance off she might be able to improve her performance, it really ought to suit her but it lacked conviction or something.

I'm expressing an opinion. May not be the same as yours, but there's no need for snarkiness.

I see a big difference in how Rose is presented this year to many (probably any) of the disabled competitors in previous years, who have all had varying degrees of difficulties to overcome.

And I stand by my question as to whether a same sex dance partnership would have had more impact if one of the couple was straight.
