Next week will be interesting. Sara's q/s might be nice, but 9–5 theming is probably going to be annoying. AJ might be great at the Charleston, or her Bambi legs might re-appear. I hope Jojo gets his choreographical mojo back, I haven't really got properly into their last few dances and rumba is a tricky one!

The right person went tonight I think. I don't think Judi was going to improve much more and she clearly has to recover from Covid. I liked Graz this series, he seemed to be genuinely having fun.
Didn't love Adam and katja's dance but he is beginning to feel the music more and deserved to stay.
I'm guilty of being pleased Dan stayed! I'm enjoying seeing his relationship develop with Nadiya and I like her choreography.
Rose and Gio are my favourites though!

I don't think Katya shows off her partner, it's all about her. I don't think the nearly kiss did them any favours either, especially after Seann.

As for Dan, these TV broadcasters do seem to go further in the contest, remember John Sergeant? (Except Naga and Pasha who seemed to have issues)

I think Dan will be this year's Mike Bushell or Chris Ramsey. Mike stayed until Bkackpool I think and Chris wasn't in the DO until the quarter finals.

To sum up my opinion of yesterday's; ' I LOVED the proper pros dance, that's what I call a dance, I'll watch that again (Sat's was a mess, not the dancers)

The presenters looked better on Saturday (or whenever the first episode of the weekend was filmed\broadcast!!!)

The right person left, she COULD dance though. It must be a strain on her knees esp. when she's been ill.

Katya and\Adam's ghost in the piano was a good dance, I liked him in it the wig looked better put on in the DO ( I like him anyway [dhlgrin]

Yes Figgygal ITT is definitely worth watching. esp with Janette who brings an extremely professional dancer's aspect to the interviews and to the MasterClasses she does. Rylan's sweet but meh.

Mike was really unpopular though - he kept being in the DO and being saved by the judges. Something so depressing about the "crowd-pleasing" comedy act clearly not pleasing the GBP at all, and having to be dragged through to Blackpool in the teeth of public apathy.

The problem with Mike was that the powers that be had decided early on he should be the comedy contestant. He was actually an ok dancer, and was improving, but every routine was drowned in theming.

I agree Rose & Gio seem like good mates. They obviously love each other but not in that way. More like caring & having fun. I think they have a similar sense of humour and he's enjoying learning from her as well as teaching. He's had to completely rethink how he teaches, which has been good for him too.

Definitely the right decision last night and I'm interested to see where things go from here, the wheat and chaff are slowly being separated and very soon we're going to see some "shock" exits.
