Next week will be interesting. Sara's q/s might be nice, but 9–5 theming is probably going to be annoying. AJ might be great at the Charleston, or her Bambi legs might re-appear. I hope Jojo gets his choreographical mojo back, I haven't really got properly into their last few dances and rumba is a tricky one!

Tilly was better in the dance off -but it seemed rushed they over-took the computer graphics which seemed strange.

I don't like Kataya after the Sean thing -didn't like either of them. So sorry I can't get behind them and Adam's partner's tweets etc .

Dan is definitely well behind the others now and then Sara and then Tilly for me working my way up!

Ah FFS. DS just launched himself at me for a goodnight cuddle and sent my glass of red wine flying all over the living room - thoroughly coating the recently painted cream walls and the pale green wool rug.

Not his fault, genuine accident...but FFS!!

Deepest sympathy Greebo. My DS is very dyspraxic - I have those moments on an almost daily basis. Washable paint is a godsend! I hope you have more wine available for a top up. 🍷

Aaahh bless Adam and Katya being all emotional. Adam looked like he was going to lose it when he was thanking everyone.

Acorn Antiques! I love this show but it also makes me sad because my bf's dh loved it too and we'd phone each other if I wasn't at theirs and discuss things we loved the most or if we were together see who could guess closest to the amounts. He died in February and I do miss him.

This was entirely the wrong dance off (thanks to the judges’ poor voting last night). It beggars belief that dozy Dan got higher than Adam. All he did was strut around the dance floor and barely danced at all, at least Adam was actually dancing.

Dan is so smug and self satisfied and he really can’t dance so I hope he is the next to go.

For me AJ, Rose and John are my final three. I'd prefer one of the ladies to win but I'd be happy with any of those three

I am thinking that Gio's former partners might be a bit hurt that Rose is the best thing that happened to him on Strictly.

He has had some excellent partners - Faye Tozer and Debb-eh for example.

And he had a relationship for the best part of a year with Georgia May Foote, didn't he?

I disagree they will be hurt as he didn't say Rose was the best dancer or the best partner he has had, he said she is the best thing that has happened to him.

This series Gio has had to learn just as much as Rose has - having a partner with a disability has affected how he teaches, how he decides choreo, how he trains and generally how he helps Rose be her best, not to mention the fact he is learning to sign in a second language.

Having been a teacher (albeit in a classroom not a ballroom as I have two very left feet) it is easy to get into a rut of teaching and running classes in certain ways because it is what you know and what is easiest. It's only when you get a student that needs a different approach that sometimes it gives you the push to try different/new things that you wouldn't have experimented with previously. Having Rose as a partner, where he had to change his teaching/explanation style, has pushed him to be a better pro because now he's considering different facets of dancing and performance that no other partner has needed him to do.

Im glad shirley said she would have saved adam.
I don't think it makes her sexist.
Tilley comes across as lovely, but don't get her.

Adam looks a lot better with his hair growing out.

Tilly and Nikita looked as if they expected to go home.

Loved the Irish style dance at the start.

I think Adam has been undermarked quite a few times over the weeks, I'm not sure what the judges have against him, and there's no way he should have scored lower than Dan, who always seems nice but dances in quite a half-hearted, going through the motions way.
And I think this week's dance off was close.

Adam would have done much better with a different pro, I think. Oti would've worked wonders with him.
