Shona would really irritate me if I were max. She’s constantly sticking her nose in and speaking to David about max in front of max.

Given that her son murdered Max’s mum, I’m not sure she’s in a position to lecture anyone on parenting!

Me too. If they can gradually drop the ‘Shona occasionally says bizarrely insensitive things or does something outrageous’ thing (which I think they’ve already started to do) she can be a really good character again.

Does anyone else want to see Shona and Abi become friends? We’re so short on decent female friendships, and they’ve been such a big part of the show for years.

Yeah 100%! I loved her before the brain tumour and found it hard to adjust to her new 'socially awkward' attitude. Glad to have her back😄

I see Alma occasionally on the late night re-runs of Bad Girls, with Ken's barge woman Stephanie whatsername. They are currently smuggling cakes and ale around the prison.

So is Roy off to HMP Weatherfield as well? Coronation Street must have its own wing.

The prison set and that fancy new hotel must have cost a fair bit, because the producers seem desperate to use them as much as possible! I was quite pleased to see the hotel actually has staff - even if it was the most easily bought receptionist who ever lived.
