Bryce - I don't particularly warm to him, but I don't think he is wholly culpable. I think he really needs some help with how he manages his thoughts abd emotions. However he does need to apologise for the stupid "kiss" move!!

Bec - personally she seems to be totally focused on Bryce and Melissa. She just reminds me of the Queen Bee type who needs to be at the centre of everything. The way she has treated Jake is awful.

I said earlier about Melissa getting what she wants out of the series. I know Bryce's rubbing of her arm could be a sign of control, but if you twist the situation on its head, he could be self soothing. I think she's a dark horse keeping her powder dry and is nobody's fool.

I think Bec is as much an abuser as Bryce if not more so. He can’t do right for wrong. He thought he was being respectful by not pushing for more physical intimacy, until he discovered that everyone else had been. She has stayed for this long purely because Jake also suffered terribly from depression and has low self esteem. Him defending her, in his eyes is chivalrous, being told he is just like Bryce has confused and insulted him.

When they were on the couch and he was pouring his heart out, if you watch her very closely, she is desperately trying not to grin at him and at a point he was looking for a “yes” her head, very minutely was shaking no.

As much as she says she is trying to point out the red flags to Melissa, she isn’t. She’s enjoying being queen bee lording it over her minions.

I don’t understand how Patrick has managed to get away with the shit stirring he has been doing! In the real world I imagine he feels quite pathetic and inept, but in this ixperiment he feels empowered.

Although Pat's constantly stirring has really annoyed me, he did at least have the maturity to tell Belinda that she should always voice her opinion even if its different ftom his. He didn't just thank her for "having his back" (I never want to hear that phrase again!!!)

I haven’t seen that Belinda bit yet but I can’t help but think that both Pat and Belinda are enjoying - nay thriving - on the drama so far. As said, I’m just up to lungegate so things may have changed.

Was the broadcast last night interrupted a lot? I downloaded from sky to watch now but it's all over the place, test card, pause, black screen, part 3 of 6...I've resorted to watching on sh videos..with the added bonus of watching at 1.5 speed so I'll get through it faster because I know I'll be hearing a load of shite....Ideally i'd like it a bit faster because gonzo on helium would be at least entertaining.

Liam is obviously quite camp, and admitted to being bisexual, but I think he’s a drama queen. He’s like the gay best friend of an ice queen- Bec- when they took Melissa for a private chat.
I don’t think Melissa is a push over, in fact she might settle Bryce down and make him a better person- in time.
Patrick has caused a lot of the shit in the experiment. He stirred up the arguments between Sam and Bryce, then added fuel to the fire with Bryce and Bec gate.
He also played a big part in the destruction of Brett’s and Booka’s marriage but seems to have got off Scot free !
Why hasn’t anyone on the experiment noticed this?

I really dislike pat, snakey two faced drama llama, I did think at the beginning how can a PT be so shy and lacking in confidence. I agree with PP who says what Belinda sells door to door is mornomisn

I liked booka and what’s his name but is there anything more unattractive than a man who doesn’t stand up for his woman! Can’t stand Liam or Bec, the mean girls act is so 2008! The apple didn’t fall far from the tree with Bec and her mother did it! Agree that Jason is a drinker, on the first night at the retreat when he had the row with Alana he was mortal!

Bec is truly a nasty piece of work. She's only there for the TV presence.
Pat and Belinda are equally as weird as one another. He freaks me out a little bit, if I'm honest......
Bryce is the sort of guy who goes through women like a dose of the clap...... he's reliant on his semi good looks and not his personality. He'll spend the rest of his life looking over his shoulder just in case. As for Melissa, she's completely devoid of personality...... so again relies on her looks to attract men but knows she can't really keep them interested for long so tolerates any level of shit to stay. I agree with the PP's who said it's all about the house, kids, dogs... and she'll keep her eyes firmly focused on the end prize.

They really scraped the bottom of the barrel this season.......... so few are genuinely likeable.

I totally agree with you all re shit-stirring Pat, Bec is just hateful (like her gobby mum), Bryce is the most annoying twat of 2021 (and plain as they come, cannot see how Melissa fell so hard so fast! Agree she's probably focused on the end goal of settling down).

I had a lot of sympathy for Booka with that note. Though I liked him Brett was clearly guilty as sin, that was obvious when he barely challenged Pat. Pat and Belinda got away with murder! Very unkind words indeed, and rich coming from such oddballs!

I've really enjoyed this season actually. Unless I'm remembering them wrong I think this crop are generally more normal than Ines and co. That doesn't say much, I realize! 😆
