What Bec said about Jake didn’t make sense, when she said she saw a side of him he didn’t like. All he did was stand up to Bryce, to defend her.
Yet her mother came across as a loud mouth and a bully on the virtual meeting, while Bec sat there nodding agreeing with her!
I don’t think Bec or her mother are particularly nice.

I was holding on to hope that Jake would finally see Bec for the nasty woman she is and write leave. I'm beginning to feel that he has as little self esteem as Melissa. But luckily for him Bec clearly has no intention of maintaining this relationship. He will soon be free to find a proper partnership with a decent human being!

Bec - nasty through and through ... it's all about her and yes she is a bully
Belinda - maybe not as shy and timid as she appears?
Jake - lovely but can't believe he thought it was ok not to be having any intimacy eg kissing with his 'wife' (and he has really tiny teeth)
Bookah & Brett - loved them as a couple but she is a bit intense and yes interfering Patrick was in there stirring the pot

Bec’s just finding any excuse to blame Jake for why she’s being distant with him. Rather than just admit she’s not into him. Easier to blame it on Jake than be the bad guy.

Just catching up now. What planet is Bec on? He smiles at her on the wedding day and she takes that negatively with the sex on the stick comment. He sticks up for her during an argument and she manages to turn that around like he's a bad person for doing so. Even the girls were looking at her like

Bryce's lack of care for Melissa is just shocking. He's so childish.

He makes out that he really cares about her when he deems she's been upset by someone else. But when his words or actions upset her he gets on the defensive, says he's just being honest and manages to turn it round on her so that she ends up comforting him. Classic abuser.

I wish Melissa had got a full on decent dude but I think she is playing the long game.

I’ve seen it in some acquaintances over the years.

They want the wedding, the house/nest, the 2.2, the school run, dog or cat and the barbie in the back garden.

Which is just fine.

Except so far, Melissa hasn’t been able to achieve it. Some (male or female) put up with any old shite for a shot at the dream.

I think Melissa isn’t feeling as hard done by as we all might think. She is half way to the dream.

It won’t matter to her if she only gets to have 95% of her dream life.

I do hope that he is lovely to her sometimes and we aren’t getting to see it thanks to the producers.

Bec just wants to be on the telly. She has never liked Jake. She sees him as weak. But she wants to stay in the programme.

She was vile to Jake from the start.Absolutely shockingly outrageously offensive- all that sex on a stick/ piece of meat/ shoved his tongue down my throat nonsense.
Then, she just dangles a few crumbs of vague (fake) niceness towards him- just enough to make sure he Stays.
Then she writes Leave- and Jake feels he's the one who has to up his game to make her change her mind the following week. She's done this twice now.
She is such a manipulator. I'm surprised no one in the group can see. I particularly hate the way Georgia fawns around her.
I think the ixperts/ producers do not take enough care to vet/ get to know the entrants better. They need to weed out the drama queens, the insta wannabes, the unstable.
