I felt bad for Brett, but I do admit it made me LOL when she was singing the Brett song by Brett and The Bretts 🤣🤣

Booka's dad was just like her. When he launched into his big shpeel I'm sure most people spaced out (Brett certainly did!) but Booka was gazing at him and nodding intently. Must be exhausting being her and being with her.

Booka clearly just wants a younger version of her Dad.

Bloody hell, I'm catching up from last night - Bec making her sad little girl face while her mum tells Jake off. What a vile family.
And her mother carrying on shouting whilst Jake and Bec were talking to eachother.

She just couldn’t quite manage to make an evening all about Brett. It had to be all about Booka.

The song! Urgh. I’d love to think she has watched it back and was able to see just how awful and petty it made her look, but I doubt it.

I’m really surprised by Booka. She always seems laid back, chilled and supportive of / really into Brett. This is a totally different side - has it just been weird editing or has she had a personality transplant?! I mean admittedly the letter was harsh but she’s gone a bit psycho…I really thought they were one of the strongest couples.

Pat and Belinda are sweet together but agree it’s all a bit cringe. Also why has pat suddenly come over all ultra-assertive- taking on James, putting Booka in her place etc - he seems to be getting a bit cocky. Like Bryce, maybe he should concentrate on his own relationship rather than criticising others.

Alana and Jason are a weird match - she seems way more into him than he is into her, yet to me she seems more of a catch, physically and emotionally. I mean I’m not a huge fan of hers but Jason just seems so intense and sort of down beat (might be the all night bender look) and she seems to be making way more effort.

Australia has a massive domestic violence problem. However, when this was being aired it was heartening to see so many people male and female who were disgusted by Bryce's behaviour and were calling it out. I think people were genuinely shocked to see something like that play out on our TV's and that Bryce was brazen enough to let everyone see what he's like. Wouldn't want to be behind closed doors.

Melissa is a victim. She is a victim of users and abusers (Bryce and her ex) and I really hate to say it because I hate victim blaming but after a while I found it very hard to have sympathy for her. You can't help someone when they refuse to see there's a problem. You could whack her in the face really hard with a Bryce and she'd still refuse to see there's a problem.

As for Belinda and her ummm "outfits". Something about her was quite uncomfortable to watch. She comes across as being very emotionally young as though she reached a certain age and then just stayed there.

I’m watching on All4 - the adverts seem to have been cut to a bare minimum?? They usually take up half the program but now there’s only one or two per break and sometimes there’s been just the MAFS screen still (?) then straight back to the prog without any ads . I mean, result!!

Previous posters have wondered if there's something in Belinda's background that explains the way she is.

Did asked tonight who my favourite couple is and I don’t especially like any of them! I wouldn’t be surprised if any of them split.

Wow Booka. That escalated. That is epic levels of pettiness. I can only aspire to be so petty. I really felt for Brett there.

Can’t believe Jake is still hanging in there, although they did seem to have a genuine laugh in the role play task. I stand by what I said yesterday. I think there are feelings there for Bec now.

Alana and Jason. Odd pairing. He’s there for the sex. I think she’s more emotionally invested but he is there for hot body for sure.

Melissa and Bryce. Meh. Someone just needs to give her a big shake and tell her to wake up. He’s horrific.

Pat and Belinda. She is a strange one. Her childlike presentation irritates me hugely. She is very emotionally stunted. It makes Pat seem creepy wanting to be intimate with her tbh.

Oh shit - Booka! What the absolute hell? She didn't take the letter well at all did she? It was a harsh letter, but my god, I have never seen such bitterness ever.

Hi just re joining thread! Have to say alot of them look completely broken and emotionally drained especially Jake, Jason and Bret! I don't like any of them really and even if they make a go of it on the outside I don't think they are suited or healthy relationships. I'm not sure I'm liking the direction this series is going, yes some drama is good but not when the producers are meddling and creating it. I love a happy ending and seeing it work out for them.
