I think it is unfortunate that the conversation Bryce had about the girl outside the experiment was with Bec. Her behaviour gives his denials credibility.

So what do we think happened? He had the conversation almost verbatim how Bec described it? What was he thinking?!! Trying to impress her in some strange way?

Ah jake you need to get out of there. Surely by this point especially with his history of mental illness you’d be thinking Christ I don’t need this - it’s meant to be life enhancing not a vortex of doom and despair!

It’s funny that there have been several couples where the woman is really quite unpleasant / scathing of their husband, critical of them physically and whose behaviour is bordering on bullying/ abusive. There are some asshole men of course -Bryce, James etc - but when the women are horrible they seem Another level cruel! Bec and Jake, Jamie and Chris, and on previous series Ines and Bronson and of course susie and billy- I actually felt uncomfortable watching them. It was like he was walking on eggshells…

@Windows01 there's a massive spoiler doing the rounds on social media. People on this thread have mentioned it for a few days but I had the misfortune to see a headline today. It's pretty annoying that British papers would do that when we haven't finished watching the series here. It's massive and I need to talk about it but at the same time don't want to get more spoilers so I don't think I'll start a thread 😩

Unbelievable. Missed it last night so set aside time this morning to watch it in bed. The episode is missing from 4od, so got showered and come downstairs to try the PS4 because it has an option to catch-up last night's tv in a different way to the browser version. 4oD won't even load on the tv.

I'm guessing I missed a good episode?

I’m having the same weirdness. The tv downstairs seems to only have a few random episodes, whereas the PlayStation upstairs has all of them? As far as I can tell they should be the same as both the 4od app 🤔

Can you see episode 18? I've got wall-to-wall Young Sheldon all evening yesterday apparently.

I know it's been said but Melissa really confuses me. It's like she thinks the ultimate goal of a relationship is how long you can hold onto a man for. Not finding someone who makes you happy and is kind and respectful to you. She needs counselling. His behaviour is very worrying too.

Melissa’s narrative of ‘we keep being dragged into rumours’ drives me mad. Bryce is a cunt, and brings these things on himself, he isn’t dragged into anything!! Can’t believe she actually said she moved his water glass away, obviously not beyond the realms of possibility for her that he would physically attack Bec like he did ManSam. I know it’s ‘only’ a glass of water but still.
Also it’s so cringey that Bryce keeps saying how he’s one of/the most genuine and honest person in the experiment, and that everyone is just jealous. Mate please.

Poor old Jake, his mum and sister were lovely and seemed so concerned about him.

Bec 's mum was dreadful, talking over the top of people and not listening. You can see where she gets her attitude from.

Just finished the commitment ceremony episode.
I hated how hurt chris looked while dopey bollocks was blithering on about their differences and that. Misery that she is.
Everything else is pretty predictable and nothing too surprising, honestly I find the commitment ceremonies quite boring.

I know what you mean @dapsnotplimsolls it’s just, well, it just doesn’t feel like it should be on tv.

I was never mega keen on Jason, really, but fuck I’ve gone right off him with his blind support of Bryce despite seeing his shitty behaviour first hand. Very telling of Jason’s mentality and attitude towards people too imo.

Melissa is really annoying.
