I think the experts are failing Melissa big time.

And also..... Theory about Jason/Alanah: I might be way off but I wonder if Jason is on something that makes him less able to perform and makes him more disconnected?

He just seems like a major stoner or somebody on antidepressants or something. So I wonder if that's creating an issue.

I couldn't understand why so many of the women put Bryce so high up on the attractiveness challenge. He's not attractive in either looks or personality.

I never bought the relationship between Bryce and Melissa.

Melissa is desperate to be loved -if she'd been paired with anyone else she probably would have fell in love with them as well. I think she's in love with the idea of being in love.

Bryce just wants someone he can control and manipulate and she does seem very easy to manipulate because of her desperation to be loved.

I wouldn't call this a relationship. I'd call it a co-dependency with a lot of one sided coercion.

Couldn't agree more. Even the way she sits quietly at the commitment ceremony. She has nothing to say. She seems to say more to the camera than she does anyone else.

Bryce is such a brat and seems to admit that is just the way he is.

They producers knew though didn’t they.
Bryce doesn’t seem to know or care how awfully he is coming across. I’m sure his traits would’ve been obvious in the selection process, as would Melissa’s.
They knowingly put together someone like him with someone like her which I think is pretty unforgivable.
The ‘ixperts’ clearly can’t stand him!

I know the experts were trying to get Melissa to be honest about her feelings but I'm concerned that she's admitted her fear of losing Bryce (right in front of him I mean).

She's just handed him the full deck of cards. He knows now that he's got her, regardless of his behaviour.

I actually felt sick watching Melissa last night, she is so desperate for someone to love her she will put up with anything, the fact she said she only listens to him and how openly she admitted to the other girls and then in the ceremony that she is scared of him leaving.

I absolutely believe Bec, she has no reason to lie, I don't think he actually has a girlfriend on the outside but that it's the girl he was seeing before and he was showing off to make him look popular as a pp has said.

The experts look disgusted with him but what they should be doing is removing couples like this as it's so damaging, or at the least really calling them out. I don't think they are doing this enough with Bryce, they did with James but I feel its only because he was clearly leaving. It's almost like the experts are pleased for them that they are giving it a go.

It is said that the experts don't see stuff in between the ceremonies/dinner parties but I find that hard to believe, at the least the production team do and I think they need to step in more.

Totally agree. He spent the last number of years going on benders that he is now flat and depressed.

I would have loved to know where James had gotten too all those times??

Anyone else thinks James prefers the men? I think he went on that show for show and that secretly he is off banging lads when he is not in the apartment. I wonder if he and Jason are going at it....

There's dramatic pauses and there's dramatic pauses, but that was ridiculous.

There was an element of " I'll give her a good seeing to if she's a virgin" with what James said. Utterly revolting and so glad the experts took him to task- even though it didn't sink in

Oh this! He now knows all he has to do is present her with the "me and you against the world babe" angle and she'll do whatever he wants. The fact that we aren't seeing any robust intervention from the ixperts on this (I say 'seeing' because there may have been something behind the scenes, we don't know, but I'm doubtful) is horrific.

I don't think Jason is anywhere near capable of deep thought or indeed stringing a coherent sentence together. I think Alanna spotted this quite early on with him.

I think his brain is fried from all the partying.

He does have that look about him.

I'm finding Melissa really hard to watch, trying not to victim blame but it's taking all my strength not to. Nothing about her seems genuine, she's probably mindful of every word she says.

And yes, Bryce now knows he can do anything he likes as she's terrified of him leaving

I think James books himself in to a hotel and has a quiet night in. He’s just playing mind games.

Looking forward to watching Bryce's mum hand him his arse on a plate!

I feel like the experts should actually be advising some of the people to leave the toxic relationships rather than saying work at it. I get muddled on names but this applies to Melissa, and the big new guy (and snobby princess). And they definitely should have told Jo to get out from James’ toxic relationship.

If you were the person’s friend in real life you’d just tell them to walk.

Also thinking the family cinema will be spread over today and tomorrow. Feeling sorry for Alannah why this keeps happening to her.
