I hate Luka. Find him so annoying.

EerilyDisembodied · 21/10/2021 13:48

That pram had good brakes

doctorsnoddy · 21/10/2021 13:49

Someone needs to speak to the partners about Jimmi and Al's unprofessional behaviour

KilledByWitches · 21/10/2021 13:51

I hate Luka. Find him so annoying.
He's very easy on the eye though 😳

Since when was Daniel "down with sexism".

Emma's hair is unflattering today

EerilyDisembodied · 21/10/2021 13:52

Daniel's easy on the eye too but I also hate him

doctorsnoddy · 21/10/2021 13:54

Lordy, Val being counsellor? Poor Jimmi!

EerilyDisembodied · 21/10/2021 13:55

You don't get many baby Andrews nowadays.

EerilyDisembodied · 21/10/2021 13:56

She's going to bore Jimmi into submission

KilledByWitches · 21/10/2021 13:57

Why does that plant hang over the microwave? Pain in the arse to shift that every time you want to zap your soup.

EerilyDisembodied · 21/10/2021 14:02

No patients today again

Stopyourhavering64 · 21/10/2021 14:03

Emma's hairstyle and colour keeps changing from scene to scene- longer and more auburn in one scene and shorter and darker in another ! Confused

KilledByWitches · 21/10/2021 14:07

Have you noticed 95% of TV shows can never get the size and weight of a fake baby anywhere near right? 😂

OP posts:
LIZS · 21/10/2021 14:07

Was Andrew not a real baby?

KilledByWitches · 21/10/2021 14:09

@LIZS

Was Andrew not a real baby?
No no he's real. Just a poor pretend baby

That worked well then Confused

EerilyDisembodied · 21/10/2021 14:12

Zara, Emma and Daniel are really not in a position to lecture anyone about relationships.

KilledByWitches · 21/10/2021 14:14

Right, off for a flu jab.

See you all Monday no doubt!

I actually thought Emma looked really good today, both her hair and the colour of her blouse. I quite enjoyed today even though we saw no patients!! Liked the way most of the characters actually were on Al's side, even though they didn't say it out loud. Jimmi's talk about not needing anyone was depressing wasn't it? I would hate to think I could never rely on anyone at all, I love people. Good luck with your flu jab KilledByWitches

smallandimperfectlyformed · 21/10/2021 15:06

Of course David was a patient of sorts, silly me! Just not of any of the doctors from the show!!

KilledByWitches · 21/10/2021 16:37

Thanks small all done. DS reckons it's knocked him about a bit this year so hope it doesn't do the same for me. I want to head down to see DD this weekend and I cant if I'm ill.

In the scheme of things it wasn't a bad episode, nice little twist. I'm assuming all the outdoor filming will lessen when Winter sets in.

I normally have a sore arm after the flu jab. My covid booster is due soon and my mum was telling me that she had heard of that being incorporated with the flu jab, I hope not. My first covid shot absolutely floored me- 2nd no real side effects!!
Going back to the episode I knew men could get PND - even before Daniel had it - but I didn't realise they could have postpartum psychosis and it was nice to hear Daniel talking about male relationships in an emotionally serious way. That was a good way of dealing with gender stereotypes I thought (and also social distancing, parents do go for long walks round the parks with babies in buggies so that didn't look so odd).

FuzzyPuffling · 21/10/2021 17:46

Missed it again today (more chairs - all done now).

Flu jab - I had a sore arm this year but that was all. Hurrah! Normally, arm is fine but I get systemic horribleness (i have an auto immune condition that means my immune system is bonkers) Hope Witches and anyone else is ok.

smallandimperfectlyformed · 21/10/2021 18:01

FuzzyPuffling it's actually worth watching. There's at least one scene with Al and Jimmi, Zara, Daniel and Emma all have conversations about it and Val attempts to counsel Jimmi. Plus we get to see Rob actually helping someone and at one point he expresses sympathy with the ill person's wife which I hope means he actually starts to think about Karen (she's in the beginning of the episode but not there for lots of it).

Raahh · 21/10/2021 18:58

I have finally caught up.
I hope we see Rob turning a corner. I don't like horrible Rob- and desperate Gobby is not nice to see Sad.

I wish the Al and Jimmi stuff would get resolved.

I am glad the writer's remembered that Daniel shagged Jimmi's wife- the famous merlot -o'clock incident- Grin he wasn't the best person to preach about being Jimmi's friend- (and was only doing the stuff in the prison out of guilt, imo). Al was Jimmi's real
mate- even if he tried to play it down.
