Old thread filled, hope nobody minds!

It was a bit unbelievable in places but agree it's good to see men having relationship problems and childbirth-related mental health problems instead of women for a change (as someone said a week or two back, it does sometimes end up with stereotyped roles eg always the evil daughter not wanting to look after an elderly parent). Such a relief to see the nicer side of Rob again, but desperate Gobby isn't a good idea, I don't think anyone at the Mill is very well qualified to offer relationship advice TBH.

The surgery we’re registered with haven’t started flu vaccinations for vulnerable under 65s yet so I had mine at Sainsbury’s pharmacy two weeks ago, I didn’t want to wait until they finally started doing them. I spoke to the surgery about Covid boosters earlier this week as mine is due from the 25th and was told that they’re not involved in booking them this time around.
With the first two doses they called to book appointments at the local vaccination hub but for boosters they’ve decided that it’s up to patients to sort it themselves.
There’s no way we could get them at the same time around here!

I did the same @MadisonAvenue, private flu jab rather than wait for GP. My covid booster isn't due till the end if Nov, our GP is telling people that once they hit 6 months post jab 2 to book in at the local hub. However my 15yo DD is having both at school today, hoping she's ok after.

I had mine at Tesco. I do get one through the GP but they are a way off my age group yet and I didn't really want to wait for the sake of £9.
I feel like I've been kicked today. Head pounding, ache all over, want to sleep. DS tells me he feels fine today so hoping it's just a 24 hour thing.

I've got a batch of episodes to catch up on on my TiVo box. The last one I watched, Al had just started taking to 'Starbuck' online, and Valarie was trying to help him work out who it was.

Must admit I'm sick of these stupid storylines for Al. I can't remember the last time I saw him do any proper work! 😂❤️

I got a swollen armpit with my booster. Very odd!

I really want a Val episode based around this song. So play a bit, have equivalent "dragon", etc. They could do something great with Val help being the solution.

I'm a teacher so don't really get to watch in term time and it's increasingly not on in the school holidays. Brilliant half term treat even though I have no idea about what's going on in the storyline!!

Emma's hairstyle and colour keeps changing from scene to scene- longer and more auburn in one scene and shorter and darker in another !

Just caught up with last Thursday episode. All I kept doing was checking Emma's hair, Auburn, dark, Auburn..and wondered what the comments would be

Watched today's just now. I didn't realise Shak was unemployed, thought that he was a student. Amira was an unpleasant little madam wasn't she? But she did look nice, loved the blouse!!

The blouse was gorgeous. The acting however....

Ah I'm giving all youngsters a pass for a while as their stage schools etc were shut and they couldn't learn their trade on plays in tiny theatres in the back of beyond!

I haven't watched today's properly yet, because it didn't record all of it(issues with Virgin box but the bits I saw were more than enough.

Was nice to see Shak back. I've always had a soft spot for Shak.

I've always thought Dido/ Emma wears wigs- though it's never mentioned (unlike with Mrs T) because her hair has always changed from episode to the next!

I love Shak, I think he's a great character. He had a lovely relationship with Heston and then for a while they had Daniel and him having some kind of father/son thing going on, that was good. I liked Aliyah too. It was nice to see Jimmi and Al friends again but it felt like an odd resolution considering how bitter and protracted their relationship break up had been.

I follow Sunjay Midda (Shak) on Instagram and it looks like he’s moved to Canada.

Wish Ruhma would move to Canada.
