it's just getting worse... and it's not Sid's fault. the writing of this episode is just dull.

I won't be surprised if he wakes up at the end and it was all an anxiety dream.

I wonder if he'll have a job to go back to. Wait til the kids tell the police he offered them money

How bad was the photoshopped 'Letherbridge NHS' sign on the side of that building?

Sid isn't stupid so I can't believe he wouldn't report the teenagers (especially the ringleader girl). I wonder if the asthmatic one will be featured again? Maybe Sid will have to treat him for an asthma attack, otherwise why would they keep showing him using his inhaler? So tomorrow we see more of Al and Jimmi's relationship breaking down. Glad Luca tells them off, they are really unprofessional!

That was ridiculous. There is no way they could use the blood if it had been out of chain of custody - it could have been tampered with.

I do think the quality of the writing has gone downhill recently, wonder if someone has left?

I think a lot of it stems from outdoor storylines due to covid. Today was a prime example, but recently there was Karen in the multi storey, the bloke in the garden shed etc.

It is lazy, and extremely obvious.

Yes that's true KilledByWitches also it really stands out that they don't have enough people in the rooms sometimes. Like we never see the cast together, there's only ever 3/4 people in any scene. We need to see lots of them together again!

I'm watching it now - and yelling at the TV: Call the police Sid. Call them now.

I get the constraints of Covid. That they can't have too many people together, and film outside when they can.

However not all productions are like that. I was an extra in a movie in January 2021, nobody was vaccinated at that point, we all had to have a PCR the day before filming and socially distance while not filming but when the cameras were rolling there was no social distancing, no masks.

Also, it's not noticeable at all on shows like Eastenders, but I suppose they have a bigger budget and can do all the split screen and perspex screen thing which Doctors can't afford. So we're stuck with 30 minutes of Sid chasing three kids round a car park.

To be honest, they've always had some complete dud episodes going back way before Covid. And sometimes they still do really well, the rape episode a week or so back was handled far better (thankfully, given the sensitive nature of it).

I can't believe they would use that blood after that either, anything could have happened to it.
