Anyone watch Succession

Who is your favourite characters in Succession. I thought this was one of the best shows I have seen in ages, can't wait for new season which will be out soon. Lots of great characters in it. Greg, Tom, Roman. Love to hear your take on it..

Read a v interesting insight - that Tom was behind Logan knowing to send the doughnuts in episode 2!

Also spoiler a lot of people online seem to think Gerri was cold to Roman at the end, but I thought she was just sad. She was repeating back to him the lesson she had tried to teach him earlier on “how does this serve me?” - a lesson he unfortunately did not take on board this episode . I feel sad for him.

So happy for Tom though

It was ambiguous in my head because I didn’t want it to be true! I saw and then tried to un-see. I was desperately hoping everyone here and all the reviews would say “No … It only looked that way. Fooled ya!” But no such luck. Everything’s smashed.

And - Shiv’s face at the end …

Episode 2 of season 3. The children all go and meet at Kendall’s, and seem to be close to siding with him and suddenly some doughnuts show up from Logan and it spooks them. Shiv is like “how did he know we were here?” The show had her telling Tom on the phone earlier on

Remind me of the doughnuts …

They were in S3, Ep2 - when the sibs held a secret council of war in Kendall’s daughter’s bedroom. During a break in negotiations Shiv phoned Tom with all the details. Later on Logan sent donuts for them. They were properly spooked - though I’d thought it was obvious Tom was the sneak on that occasion.

Just watched it. Gobsmacked. Will need to read all the reviews tomorrow to get an inkling of what the fuck happened and then have to watch it again for a week. Fucking superb.

Brilliant acting from all the cast though. This show is one of the few shows that make me laugh!

Got to love Roman and his redemption curve.

Tom is just awful - “don’t you know my parents contributed to the wine” - suns him up!! I did wonder about Shiv being pregnant.

Where to now for them? I like the idea of a united Kendall, Roman and Shiv.

What an episode. Wow. The re ignition of Kendal. The utter contempt their dad has for them. Their ghastly mum. The scene in the car. Roman's internal struggle. Shiv bested by the husband she hates.

And the scenery!!

The thing is Logan always speaks some sense though. He’s a pro at manipulating snd he’s heartless but like…the deal makes sense for the company. It’s his company. They aren’t really entitled to it and probably should go out snd make their own money! 🤦🏻‍♀️

But where now? There’ll be a Season Four and it can’t just have them being pushed out. Another vote for Shiv being pregnant. There were so many shots of her torso and when she clutched her belly at the end…. Will Tom’s actions lead to the loss of the child he wanted?
Also, what was the role of Marcia? She just appeared then was gone.

So… Marcia…. DH couldn’t hear what she said in her one line so we rewound it.. “I will have my omelette in my room” almost as if she was going to a kid the wedding reception.

But then which episode said “you can’t make an omelette without breaking Gregs”?

Twists and turns, twists and turns.
