I guess because she was the one who had made a commitment to him. Ok they aren’t really married but for the purposes of the show they are.

How many threads do you see on here from women where posters say they need to get angry with their husbands who have cheated and not blame the OW as they aren’t the ones who owe them anything.

I get why Bob’s reaction was against Megan.

I've lurked on here but I feel like this thread is bizarre at times.

As others have said, I don't think bitch is a severe awful thing to call someone. I'm not at all saying anyone should be called names etc, I just don't think it has the same intent as others do.
People are a mix of awesome, decent, loving, arsey etc. Most people aren't one huge extreme or another.

No....they aren't. They are a commitment ceremony. -- this has changed from previous versions of MAFSUK. At the end of the series they are able to either renew their vows - I don't know if that's a proper wedding....probably not... or walk away.

I read @CraftyLady28 's post as saying the thread swell of opinion here veers from seeing people in a positive light, to a complete about turn? but that's what they do on these series, build people up and then knock them down, manipulating the viewers' emotions and responses as they go. They're also adept at building up loads of drama and then it comes to nothing after we've got ourselves all wound up about someone.

It was the same with shows like Big Brother, initially billed as an interesting social experiment, only to end up as semi scripted reality full of fame hungry wannabees.

I think Bob was enjoying it being the Bob show, and hoping that he would get more tv work off the back of it. When he realised Megan wasn’t playing ball and therefore he could be off the show, he was pissed off and so out come the theatrics to ensure more airtime. He’s just a massive attention seeker!

It is a shame but really it is like a fluffed up version of Towie at best or a total soap opera at worst.

It is like debating who is the villain of the piece - Den or Angie.

The only thing we can assume it is not is real.

Not at all, no!
Just that opinions are incredibly extreme. People are almost always a mix of lots of conflicting traits, but on this thread (mumsnet, maybe, I don't know?) there is often a generalised extreme view, that someone is lovely or is awful/potentially abusive. On this thread, Bob has gone from being so lovely to a nasty awful person. It's the total 180 that I find bizarre. People shouldn't be classed as being one of only two options, with our thoughts of them being back and forth between the two.
And I'm generalising, I'm not lumping every poster on the thread in this.
