Just catching up on the thread. I agree with Sheldon it is weird that Bob dissolved into tears over Megan. She is a stranger, they've haven't bonded at all, so it's not like they made a deep emotional connection. Physically, she has kept him at arms length. She's just a moody woman he's been stuck with for a few weeks.

Most twenty something guys would shrug and and say "Jog on, love". Not fall to the ground, sobbing as if your life is over. What has he lost, really?

More fool him for going on a show like this without having his wits about him, anyone else would realise what was going on with Megan and put their guard up until they could leave the show with their head held high. Not follow her around like a puppy begging for attention, despite it being blindingly obvious to everyone that she just isn't into him.

Why do they expect to fall in love and have an instant attraction and amazing chemistry on demand? If that was the case then every single blind date anyone went on would end in marriage.

Massive respect to Alexis for writing "Leave" on their card. Despite Megan and Morag having zero interest in their husbands they still wrote "Stay" to see it through to the end. In other words, stay on TV.

Am I the only one who doesn't believe there even was a kiss between Jordon and Megan? There was zero chemistry between them and where the hell did they go in that big weird barn place without cameras or production staff seeing them? Not buying it.

I also think the "kiss" might be a made up plot device... although they both seem the types to do it.

Those screenshots have changed my opinion of Bob somewhat. He's too vulnerable and needs to calm down but it makes me see his "bitch" comment as less shock talking and more what he's really like. Whilst respecting that she just doesn't fancy him (neither do I), I still think Megan has been twisting the knife and is unpleasant in her own right, but I now worry more for her stuck in there with him than him stuck in with her.

I have no issue with the word bitch (username bears that one out) but I was surprised Bob went for it rather than "how could you" or similar. I assumed shock but it seems more like he let his real self out.

Forgot Franky had cheered with the lads but refused to talk to the ixperts. Hope he watches back & realises what an idiot he looks! Morag, surprisingly, seems to have the measure of people somewhat and definitely wasn't impressed by Franky. I don't think she and Luke will last and she has said some upsetting things, but her intuition seems pretty canny.

Did anyone catch Amy being an absolute delight in the next-exp trailer? Not so zen and aligned there, was she!

It makes me wonder about the editing, and how much Megan is seeing if his true character that the viewers aren’t.
Also, probably already been said, but I remember how put out he looked when Megan said she wasn’t comfortable sharing a bed on their wedding night. At the time I thought it was just disappointment but now I think he was actually pissed off as he felt entitled to get some.

After all, he is such a nice chap. Happy, smiley, handsome, fun. Who wouldn’t be in there like a futret?

His brand is now in question because she thought that Jordon was a better bet.. someone who does not even try to disguise his contempt and disdain for women who do not meet his standards.

Finally caught up with the episodes and the whole of the last thread.

It's very interesting re. Megan and Bob and Morag and Luke. The women clearly aren't physically attracted to their partners at all (and in Megan's case she can't even bear to be in the same room as him) so, in all honesty, what should they have done? They should have both put leave in their books but that makes the decision for the men too and maybe seemed unfair to them? Also it would have meant another 4 people leaving the show which would leave it very sparse. There is a prize after all, isn't there?

But there's something about women being expected to force or dredge up sexual attraction to a man which I find very uncomfortable. It is old-fashioned and demonstrative of male entitlement which I do not like.

So glad that a few others were appalled by the misogyny towards Megan over the kiss with Jordon. It takes two to tango! Bob made himself look like an ARSE over that, also the ott crying too. Megan is unlikeable but Bob went well down in my estimation last night.

Why the fuck is the absence of Matt and Daniel shrouded in such secrecy? Why can't they say "they've had to stay away because Covid" or whatever. What do they have to wring drama out of every non-drama going?

I admired Alexis for being the only one to choose to leave that night. The right choice and hopefully she and Ant can have some lovely dates away from prying eyes.

In the phone call I thought Dan said they were holed up on honeymoon? Think it's to do with the Covid travel groupings? Probably now a red area and can't fly out?

Yeah - there didn’t seem to be much chemistry when they were in the sofa in the flat. If I think back to MAFSAUS and horrible Jessika, and Dan was it who she was snogging behind the lovely Mick’s back, at least when they were sneaking off at the dinner parties, there was chemistry.
Jordon / Megan seemed to have as much chemistry as two old shoes.
