I watched last night and thought Joe's meal looked a bit of a stodge-fest and not normal masterchef style.
I felt really sorry for Katie -hers should have been fairly simple but under pressure it seemed to go wrong for her. Usually I find her quite loud and (sorry) not that likeable but she seemed really different and subdued on MC.

And anything that can be likened to a school dinner (the cake) is not a good thing in my book. My school dinners were horrible!

I just couldn't take the judges seriously talking about Joe's meal as if it was the best thing they had ever eaten. Then they were so critical of Katie's it almost felt like it was staged. Joe should have gone instead of Melissa. I do feel there is some sort of hidden agenda.

As for the balloon push I would save Su because I reckon when she is on her own without an audience she is probably less hyper and good value.

The reaction to Katie's far better looking (with sausages a decent shade) toad in the hole was far more muted than Joe's a day later.
And Tottenham cake is something to have with a cuppa(when no other cake available), not a pudding.

I have a glass of white wine (NZ sauvignon blanc, of course) and a bag of wine gums. I am not sure they go together but I'm prepared to experiment for the good of mankind.

Water here (non-drinker) but I'm contemplating some ice-cream while I wait......

Provisionally supporting Johannes followed by Gavin. IIRC, when Kadeena did the Celeb Bake-Off her MS made her struggle a little bit. Is there yet another reality tv person on tonight's show? Masterchef does seem weirdly obsessed with them. I'm not weirdly obsessed with them.
