Anyway it wasn't her, it was a chubby guy who looked scary until Sascha questioned a call and he pointed up because it was being shown as out by Hawkeye on screen at that exact second and they both had a laugh. It was funny.

Sascha actually threw up in the corner. Ugh. I don't know who has to deal with that! He told the doctor he felt better after that but was feeling weak. Hope he's ok today.

Funny that Stef wants phone coaching. Remember when he smashed the headset because Apostolos was driving him mad!

At least Gael chucked up in a bin.

I remember Stef and his headset- that was the next gen final wasn't it? Probably wouldn't be allowed now, without sanitising the ear pieces or something. (I did think the head sets looked grubby even then ).

I must admit, although I am missing Rafa, I do like the fact we are seeing what is effectively the 'next' Big 3/4 in action. They are all a bit different, and it makes a change.

That said- I do hope Rafa comes back in the New Year. I don't want to think that far ahead though- January (and hideous home schooling ) still feels like yesterday, and the year is going way too quickly.

I saw some doctor speculating that if they operate on Rafa's foot he may not be able to run anymore

I always wonder who has to clean it up when players throw up on court Jane - yuk! I think Ons Jabeur threw up in front of the Royal Box at Wimbledon!

Yes I think it was at the Next Gen final that Stef smashed his headphones up and had a rant at his Mum and Dad Raahh! To think we only worried about the headphones being a bit sweaty and unhygienic then!

This year is going strangely quickly - can’t believe it’s nearly September I do find watching tennis without Rafa less stressful but I am missing him - maybe he’ll take up a second career as a tour guide after his Washington shenanigans

Jane I don't like the sound of that .
In some ways, he has defied the odds, with all his injuries and knee issues, and lasted a lot longer on tour than people probably thought he would. He could have ended up like Delpo, and out for very lengthy periods at a time. It will be very sad if this is how his career ends though.

Yes, he could be a --rubbish- tour guide. In Rafa-ish. I'd pay for that .

Looking forward to this match. Rublev might be a bit mentally exhausted after finally beating Daniil, and Sascha might still be feeling a bit sick.

Maybe they will provide buckets today. .

I forget what Robbie said now- so it was obviously that good, it made a real impression. .
