Just a quickie for those who don’t get the Jay thing. Have a look at his review in the Guardian last Saturday. He was reviewing a Polo Lounge pop up and it is a Jay classic - when he is kind he is very very kind, but when he isn’t....... in the course of the review he has a swipe at the owners human rights record, castigates wine mark ups, raises his eyebrows at a weird salad, is damning about an indifferent pasta dish, likes a pudding and is lovely about the waiting staff. What’s not to like?
