I’ve just been catching up post-holiday, and I honestly feel like I wouldn’t have missed anything particularly exciting if I hadn’t bothered It’s a sad way to feel about what’s always been my favourite programme. However, I still love any scene with Maureen Lipman, and I actually thought Tyrone was good when he was confessing.

Totally irrelevant to any of the storylines, but why does Fiz bother putting her hair up when she always has those two big hanks of it hanging in her face? I’m forever wanting to go at her with a pack of Kirbys!

Not sure if it’s a deliberate nod to the era or just a coincidence but I’m fizz’s age and when I was a teen there was a definite trend for wearing our hair like that. Ponytail with two thick bits down at the front. I remember being mortified when our RE teacher said “can the following girls please stand up” then named us all. Once we were standing (bewildered) she said “explain to me the importance of these two stripes of hair you all have hanging down your faces”

The whole call being over in two minutes got me What house? Why is it now in his name? Why has his mother not bothered to visit in years, yet is now just giving away property? No, apparently Daniel isn’t going to ask any of those questions.

If Denise is supposed to have had an attack of the guilts and decided to hand over some of her assets, surely that’s a story in itself? But obviously the writers wanted a quick way to make sure Daniel had money, so they ignore the significant back story.

I, too, am.continiually distracted by this and just want to get it all out of her face.

Billy is the worst example of a vicar and a Christian ever. Petulant, unforgiving and pretty uncaring. And all the "I'll go to prison if I don't complete this" wailing was stupid. As if Todd would have been placed with his victim in the first place! All it would have taken would have been for Todd or Billy to bring it to the attention of the organisers and he would have been placed elsewhere. But this is Weatherfield, which sits outside of the UK judiciary system!

I don’t understand why he’s not in prison. He was trying frame Paul and would happily let him go to prison. It was worth a lot of money I’m sure shop Lifters go prison for less theft. He needed the money to pay blackmailer that he set up to lie manipulator and rob a home. Break up a relationship and got summer run over. Hardly a one off bad moment error of judgement. Could community payback be on charge of filling the sink hole shovel by shovel

He can't be in prison because Faye is in prison, and they can't have male and female inmates? Although poor Faye has been forgotten.

I do wonder why we haven’t heard anything of Faye for so long. They made a point of saying the actress hasn’t left the show, but it’s weird that Tim hasn’t so much as mentioned his daughter being in prison.
