Yes I knew he found out Ruby reported Jean through a text message but not sure how he knew about Stacey.
Ruby really is a dangerous person, I know she had a hard life in the past, she doesn't make it easy for herself.

Janine and Stacey both back within 10 days of one another - it's like they are putting my fantasy cast together! I don't think he does know Ruby lied about being pushed. He went to tell Stacey that Ruby had told the police about Jean (and about the cancer I think?)

She can't prove anything really. The money from Ruby being "for drugs" is a good call and she does own the club to sell them in I guess.

I think Jean just wants to make things difficult for Ruby as revenge.

Jean appears to be slightly manic since being told she's not dying. I'm surprised the police haven't requested a mental health assessment. There are normally experienced mental health nurses attached to police stations to do just that. Even if they hadn't asked her about general health and medication at the start, her behaviour clearly indicates an issue. Another way her evidence won't stick. "Your honour, the witness has bipolar disorder and was clearly manic when she made her statement.'

Though I'd love Ruby to go down. She's a manipulative little bitch
