Ugh Bob went from annoying and loud and Nikita-esque to lovely and heartfelt, to 🙄🙄🙄 all in the space of 20 mins.

Poor Ant, he's lost his mum, and now they've paired him with the opposite of what he asked for. I hate when they take the piss like this, it's so unfair for those who were hoping to take it all seriously.

I LOVE that it's on every night. They've obviously realised that viewers get really involved with it when they can (almost) binge watch it, as with MAFS Aus.

Bob was mildly irritating like a tickly cough - went to full glowing hearty well being at the wedding - then manifested into full on Bobonic Plague in the bedroom.

It pisses me off when the ixperts (and producers - equally at fault) sacrifice someone who seems nice and genuine, like Ant, by pairing them with someone like Nikita who is blatantly only in it for the Insta-likes / Insta-fame. Poor bastard.

Nikita is just so gruesome in every way (sorry, but she is and I really try not to be horrible about people's looks on these threads), UNFUNNY, unappealing, spoilt, rude to the point of looking pig-ignorant and foul mouthed. That fiasco when she was swearing at her veil. Ant's family must be horrified, let alone the poor guy himself.

Was also creeped out by Bob thinking they might have sex. Shame as he seemed nice enough up to that point.

Think you are being too harsh on Bob he's lost his mum too and there didnt seem to be a dad around either. Why shouldn't he expect that they might sleep together on the first night ? Also he was very respectful when she said she wasn't ready. He's hardly a sex pest !!

While I agree that he's hardly a sex pest, why on earth should he "expect" that they might sleep together on the first night, given that they've literally just met, he doesn't know her at all, he doesn't even know if she fancies him, and - if all goes to plan - have all their lives??

As someone who has grown up with Nikitas mum as a family friend I can confirm that I also nearly died of cringe. Her mum however is absolutely lovely.

I’m guessing Bob isn’t adverse to a one night stand with someone he’s snogged in a nightclub then. Shame he’s not Nikita’s type, she’d have hoped into bed with straight away if he was.

Definitely feeling like Ant is the sacrificial lamb at the moment, I can only hope that Nikita has an epiphany and becomes human at some point.

Looking at the clip at the end of last night, looks like the two guys aren’t going to hit it off and Morag (think that’s her name) is definitely having a Nikita moment, a he doesn’t match my wish list strop.

Very much doubt Nikita would have had a one nighter with Bob. He’s more teddy bear than hench.

I dont think Bob has been treated harshly.

The expectation was there on the sound bite. Although yes, I concede that his expectation does not make him a sex pest and he proved that with his acceptance of her refusal to ‘cuddle’.

It was irritating that he then came out with the pg 13 thing. (I can’t recall exactly what he said)

Because he did expect it. He expected that he should get to sleep with a stranger. That fact he used that comment was to belittle her refusal. Like ‘grown ups would have sex - you are being silly’.

The gentlemanly thing to do was to accept it without comment.

The annoying thing for me is that he did have my sympathy. He was coming across as a decent bloke. He was saying all the right things.

But all the while he was expecting sex on his wedding night. And that did make me uncomfortable.

Editing is everything of course. But you can’t edit what you do not say.

Just for clarification dance - my mince comment was about the One Night Stand thing. Not Mafs.

(However if they continue mismatching for viewing figures with the also rans for love Island and Naked Attraction then MAFSUK might filter into mince territory)
