Why does it seem like there's a episode missing?

Does it? I can't even remember what happened in the last episode. Apart from Jacs nosebleed at the end.

Jaq and Nikki, no mention or hint of Christmas.

It just seemed to have jumped. I did actually check iPlayer to see if I'd missed one.

Bit of a meh episode bar Jaq's sudden deterioration. 🙁

Have decided I can’t stand Eli. He’s such an alpha male. It was great that Jac showed how brilliant she was, even if she was doing it virtually blind.

I'm actually not happy with what they're clearly going to do with HH. I know we already talked about this but the number of people who fall for someone of the same sex as them in Holby after previously being into the opposite sex is phenomenal. Must be something in the water.

I thought they looked like bite marks, but that doesn't really make a lot of sense.

I have an auto-immune condition that gives me horse-shoe shaped lesions near my joints.

We thought her marks looked a lot like mine in shape and colour. Mine aren’t sore and are totally harmless, but don’t look very nice.

Someone at home abusing her?

I was also confused by Marj’s marks.

Can anyone remind me what happened between Nikki and Louis, why was it so awkward?

They almost had a thing. As she left (on a bus I think) Louis said he loved her.

For the first time last night I felt we were being prepared for the end of Holby City. So sad ...

Yes. Although I can't see them finishing by shutting chunks of it down, that doesn't feel right to me. Maybe they'll finish on a high at the end of the 3 months with Hansen and Jaq having saved Holby.

It did feel like the start of the last chapter last night. Terrible though it can be, I will really miss it :(

I thought Madge's marks were from domestic violence but I might be wrong. Feel very sorry for Nikki - she's so overwhelmed and she's gutted about Louis and Kylie.

They've been under threat before. I wonder whether we are just seeing it as them winding the series up because we know that what they're doing?

I did like Carole's fireworks. Very apt.

What did they do with the other 90% of the ashes?

Why wasn’t Dom disciplined for his disgraceful behaviour to the patient and his wife?

Eli seemed totally bemused and incompetent during the operation and it was great to see Nicki take charge. Why is his wife constantly hanging around in the consultants office? It’s very intrusive of her.

Poor Jac. They have never let her be happy.

I loved the fireworks! What a brilliant way to scatter someone's ashes (although I think I'd want to do it over open countryside or the sea!)

I also loved that the ashes were in a cocktail shaker. Although slightly odd given the alcoholic part of the storyline.
