Not entirely over, but getting there.

Although the fact that Fletch said he would go to the police tomorrow not today means there's still chance for something to get in the way and drag the storyline out a few more weeks yet.

He said they were going to the police "tonight" didn't he?

Yes but he also said something about needing a day so I figured it was early on in the day in the episode and he wanted more time. Plenty of time for something to go horribly wrong!

I'll be sad to see Holby end.
At least Donna knows what happened if Jenny takes out fletch.

Obviously to stretch the story but why wouldn't you go to the police straight away?? Looking forward to seeing how this plays out!

I don't think they'll stretch the story out any more. I think they'll be keen to wrap it up in direct contrast to the Prince Andrew scandal.

I suppose Fletch and Evie need to speak to the police before they have any reason to arrest Jeni, and I suppose if it's been going on for months, you might think it's better to finish your shift than leaving your already over-stretched colleagues with even more to do, but... yeah.

@cittigirl when Fletch said that to Donna alarm bells were going off for me. I think that's a decision they're going to come to regret. Jenni is very on the ball I'd say, so will have another ace up her sleeve, I feel sure.

I've just re-watched the end and Fletch says "We're going to see the police tonight. We just have to hold it together for one more day".

So, the "one more day" is just the remains of this one. They aren't leaving it til the next day.
