Did Djok eat the grass? I turned over at pretty much match point (to avoid the 'celebration') and turned back to see Matteo's speech, so I didn't notice.

And the fact Djok kept kissing the trophy so much gave me the willies- in these covid times it should not be encouraged hoicks bosom- and some one has probably had to scrub it now with domestos.

Grouchy it really isn't much, is it? And mixed only really happens in the slams, doesn't it? And the Olympics I suppose- but it must be difficult to organise getting players together.

They all look happy now, so that's great.

I love mixed doubles, it has a really interesting dynamic and they seem like they have so much fun - at least in the earlier rounds. It's worth more, IMO.

Dh has turned on the football, and is more interested in DoCs earrings- which appear to be huge red hoops.

Yes I really like the mixed as well, although I've hardly seen any of it this year - apart from the Venus-Kyrgios match (seems ages ago now) and then the final.
