David was talking about sleep routines at a few days old and him and Arron about having a regular routine with baths every night. Now Nic is letting her cry herself to sleep at 8 weeks old.

But David is her father - surely he has equal rights and responsibilities - but that would not make a typical neighbours storyline (which relies on conflict)

Yes but she is clearly stressed and anxious. She's not long given birth, her hormones will be flying all over the place and they're putting her under even more pressure. It only seems to be about what they want and what is best for them. The only reason they want Nicolette to live with them is so that Isla is under their roof. They don't really care about Nicolette.

Seconded Crinkle. She's had ISla alone for 7 weeks, she's got into a way of doing it and they're just "but Abigail do that!"

Now I know that bit isn't their fault, it's hers. But they're not putting ISla first.

Om some things I get why they disagree and I'd have picked the crying baby up too, but you'd think they'd be treading a little more gently.

Omg I’m sorry but nearly half of Ramsay Street could have said what Hendrix did to Mackenzie to her because she’s so controlling. She didn’t think she should apologise at all, even though Kyle warned her.

I didn’t think Hendrix said anything wrong at all. And I have 3 sons around that age.

I think Hendrix shouldn't have snapped at her but she was being controlling, the essence of what he said was fair enough. Hope Kyle has a good chat to him soon and gets him to get to the doctors!

Such a sad depressing storyline for Neighbours, wish they'd not done it, although I know it's obviously a valuable message to get tested. But I always think of Neighbours as a more light-hearted soap, unlike Coronation Street!

I think it’s good to show the stress and ostrich reaction. I can remember Paul having a breakdown back in the 90s sat on the floor in his office. I’m not sure it’s ever just been light hearted. But they do do light and shade more than they have been recently.

I didn’t see Mackenzie as controlling. She was trying to help while finding it impossible to talk to Hendrix, he dropped out of school so she tried to help by offering an opportunity for his cooking interest.

Sheila is very annoying now about the relationship and it’s boring now.

I’m hoping Terese stays strong and doesn’t get pushed to get back with Paul.

She organised a meeting for Hendrix without asking him first and got forms for a course with out asking. She’s telling what she thinks he should do, even if she means well, she’s controlling.

I think even if she had tried to ask the communication from Hendrix has stopped so much she wouldn’t have gotten a response anyway. I thought it was just trying to be helpful and thoughtful about someone she cares about and not controlling. The meeting for a career opportunity was showing she cared.

But she did this with Melanie and the cvs as well. She is too much at times

But he didn’t know about the meeting. She set it up and didn’t tell him, then told him to impress this guy and after said he was doing her a favour to meet Hendrix. It’s a lot of pressure to suddenly have to impress someone when you are clearly emotionally struggling, let alone finding out it was a set up and if you had fucked up that might have given the other guy a bad impression of you.

And yes, it’s just like Mel’s CV and various other things in the past. She’s done things with Dipi and Shane too in a weird way. And Kyle warned her it might not go down well!

But they agreed she'd have cake and eat two slices and the boys would eat one. That's the agreement in their relationship. If one of them wants to see someone else then yeah, I think they need to be saying actually this has come up and this is what I want to do. Team Amy.
