So Nicolette has managed to magic out of thin air a completely not Asian looking baby to give away, and nobody is going to notice that?! This storyline has really gone plain bonkers.

The baby is 1/4 asian, it's entirely possible she wouldn't look particularly Asian

Yeah I don’t think it’s twins but I wonder how she arranged a second baby in an afternoon even if she was giving the whole $1M to the parent(s).

And how did she get matching clothes so quickly? Surely baby 1 and last scene baby were the same baby and it was just sleeping baby that was not?

I was going to say can’t be twins, she nearly lost the baby sooo many times and will have had so many scans that it’s highly unlikely.

How did she rustle up a baby in an afternoon though?

She did say that the baby was being looked after, when Paul asked where it was, so maybe she’s living with another single mum who was going to put her baby up for adoption?

Did she give Paul the babies birth certificate - no way would you get one this quickly in the UK but maybe they’re straight away in Oz?

If Audrey has toadies kid then for someone who had a low sperm and then had an operation which left him infertile then the fact he’d have managed to father 2 children would be a serious stretch even for neighbours.

Also Audrey felt bad she'd stole a dead man's scratch card, selling her kid seems extreme. She knows Toadie is a good man. Twins is ridiculous and there's no redemption possible if she's a baby snatcher. So.....

She barely had time to join a baby club, though, let alone get to know a mother well enough to persuade her to hand over her child to live with a family she'd never met.

Exactly, unless Nic had a plan to drop off an alternative baby herself and keep Isla and seeing Paul sped up the process? So she’d met someone who wanted to get rid of their baby but she’d only been gone for 2 weeks and surely that women’s midwife/doctor would notice the lack of baby???

The theory @SleepingStandingUp is referring to is about the woman at the antenatal class I think? But she was in Erinsborough and I thought she was intentionally having the baby alone, rather than a relationship break down during pregnancy. Might be wrong though.

Sleeping had another theory too that baby 2 might not be real?

I think, just like how the Dee/Andrea plot went down (and multiple other plots), there was a lot that didn’t make sense and we will have to accept soap world answers.

I wonder why the babies were dressed in very similar clothes, the same pink knitted hats? Perhaps to make us more shocked at the twist at the end!

By 'imaginary baby' do you mean Nic might be having a breakdown?

I hope it's not to do with Nic's friend who was intentionally a solo parent because that would be a poor representation of women who choose to use donors etc!

I expect it will be very convoluted ala Dee's twin and the drug gang! Keep us guessing for years.

Oh yes, Aaron and David will be besotted parents, then in a couple of years, someone will spot Nic with a two year old child, and the truth will begin to emerge!
