Couldn't see a thread yet.. maybe it's too early.. but needed to talk to people about Strictly with the news today that Zoe Ball and Ian Waite are leaving ITT!

Will Rylan take over full time? Who will become the resident dance expert?

Also, has anyone else seen the clips of AJ and Curtis on Hollyoaks? Grin I do wonder if he regrets quitting Strictly.. I'm
not sure acting is his forte.

I don’t think they’ll put John with Johannes. I think they’ll play it slightly safer and put him with a straight male pro, maybe Graziano. Not sure.

I assume they’ll want John with one of the taller men. If he was a burly rugby player they might have been tempted to put him with a smaller male pro and do some lifts which would be interesting, but probably not if his lifting experience is restricted to particularly heavy sourdough loads.

Agree. And I also think it will be with Graziano, especially as his dance with Johanes was so lovely, and he clearly isn't bothered about dancing with a man.

Ooh, if rumours about Ugo are true then he's another tall one, and my pairings are thrown off again (reminds self about Colin Salmon and Kristina). Nina - pairing with Gorks for now, but could pair with Neil. Ugo - pairing with Nancy, but who would I end up benching? 3 names to come if Ugo is correct. No politician yet?

Perhaps we will have our first flat 0 with Theresa May doing a Samba or Jacob Reese-Mogg doing a contempto-waft.

I had originally put John with Kai, because he danced with Brian Dowling on Irish dwts. Then Graz. But actually, as Johannes felt accepted when performing that routine with Graz, I think the first Glitterball same-sex male partnership ought to include him. Sadly, I think the Beeb might go against it. Gio is too short unless John is leading.
