Strictly 2021!

Couldn't see a thread yet.. maybe it's too early.. but needed to talk to people about Strictly with the news today that Zoe Ball and Ian Waite are leaving ITT!

Will Rylan take over full time? Who will become the resident dance expert?

Also, has anyone else seen the clips of AJ and Curtis on Hollyoaks? Grin I do wonder if he regrets quitting Strictly.. I'm
not sure acting is his forte.

Judi from the stand up to cancer thing with Curtis ((almost cringed myself inside out at him - and she wouldn’t have been far off doing the same) - anyway. I liked her on that.

And Peaty is a machine.

(Still like Greg best)

I've not heard of the Swimmer. I rarely watch the Olympics and only hear about Tom Daley.

I would have been very happy with Tom Daley doing it, but I've heard of the Olympic Swimmer so that's good.
Judi I am only aware of from LW.

Yes. He is very tall though. He was suggesting Matt Edmonton (who I believe is very short!) on R1 this morning, which is what made me thing that they're still missing a DJ.

Technically Grimmy is surely an ex-DJ turned TV presenter but yes, he's at a loose end, as is Annie Nightingale.

Adam seems fun in interviews so I think he'll be good to watch regardless of his dance ability (or lack of). I don't know anything about Judi as I don't watch the shows that she's done so that's a new one for me.

Can we start the 'guess the partners' yet? I think Dan Walker has to have Nadiya as she is the tallest professional (I think). Would love Oti to get her hands on Adam but too predictable I think.

I assume Johannes will get the male baker person (John is it)?

I am ridiculously happy that Adam Peaty is doing Strictly. As well as being an amazing swimmer he seems so nice.

I was going to be rooting for Greg Wise to win but now can't decide if I should change to Adam!

I think this year's line up is good. I know most of them and think it's a pretty good mix

Adam Peaty is a good signing and think he'll be very competitive so want to put in the hard work, hope he gets Oti maybe.

I'm very excited! I also think it will be Johannes and John. I love John Waite and like Dan Walker. I don't really know who any of the rest are (feeling old), except Tilly Ramsey who I think seems nice too.
