Couldn't see a thread yet.. maybe it's too early.. but needed to talk to people about Strictly with the news today that Zoe Ball and Ian Waite are leaving ITT!

Will Rylan take over full time? Who will become the resident dance expert?

Also, has anyone else seen the clips of AJ and Curtis on Hollyoaks? I do wonder if he regrets quitting Strictly.. I'm
not sure acting is his forte.

I know two of the six announced so far (Tom and Robert). Watched Sara's promo vid a d she looks like she might be fun. There'll surely be an Olympian or two in there!

Most people I know either wear contact lenses or take their glasses off to dance though. You don't want to risk them flying off. I find I have much better peripheral vision in my contact lenses too — I think my glasses distort things a bit around the edges.

Announcement on BBC breakfast today I think at 8.30am.. so would assume someone from the show?

I am very much hoping they are saving the best names til last but worried that the 'best' have already been announced!

Ref. glasses or contacts, since I had laser surgery in the 90s in one eye so I can read too without help, I've not worn either! Except sunglasses of course. I would recommend it!
