Couldn't see a thread yet.. maybe it's too early.. but needed to talk to people about Strictly with the news today that Zoe Ball and Ian Waite are leaving ITT!

Will Rylan take over full time? Who will become the resident dance expert?

Also, has anyone else seen the clips of AJ and Curtis on Hollyoaks? Grin I do wonder if he regrets quitting Strictly.. I'm
not sure acting is his forte.

Another yay for Emily the weightlifter who seems lovely, the two BMX riders who got medals would be fun too (saw Kye on the TV this morning and he was funny, was straight off to another competition though). Adam Peaty is taking some time out apparently.

Tom can knit and crochet, the Daily Mail can't tell the difference though. I liked his medal holder!

I really hope they put Roxanne Hoyle from Ladbaby in - they've had 3 Christmas number 1s and she's such fun, dancing all the time anyway on all their videos - she'd be doing it for the mums like Ranvir Singh did.

Ooooo the announcement just popped up on my Instagram... so excited!!! Going to make another attempt this year for tickets - didn't bother the last couple of years, but would love to take my DD who adores the show!

They usually start off with a couple of biggish names as well, so hopefully we'll know some of them! It doesn't matter once the show's got going, but it is nice to not feel completely out of touch...

This weeks episode of the wheel is the only reason why I know AJ too

So happy to see Tom his dancing- I've always had a crush for him.

And if that flash dance routine is anything to go by he'll be great

Oh, I quite like AJ. I think she is funny, witty and confident. I think she will be a bit of a giraffe on the dance floor though! But then I have read Giraffes Can't Dance so maybe she will come good.

Tom Fletcher needs his repaid furlough money back! Wink Robert Webb needs someone gentle, he needs to pace it after his heart op. I like him, especially as Andrew in Back. I would have preferred Matt King (SuperHans in Peep Show) though, as have been bingewatching Spirited this week on Amazon Prime.
AJ, like others on here, I only know from Saturday's episode of The Wheel. Assume she will be mimicking Gemma's I'm Northern (dead normal, me) shtick (copyright Monkseal!)
On a more positive note, at least I have heard of all three. Yay!

Just flicked through the one show footage on iplayer. In fairness, they signed Tom up at Xmas pre-using-furlough-scheme furore (also, if they took financial advice than he wasn't doing more cheeky fuckery than other businesses or employers), I don't know his wife and didn't see IACGMOOH. He seemed nice enough on the show. I still remember Brucie chasing them all off stage with a broom.
Rob was funny enough, looked a bit awkward on occasion. Maybe he has been asked before. I'd do it too in this financial climate. As someone else said, he needs to say That's Numberwang at least once after his scores.
AJ is just like she was on Saturday - quite loud, enthusiastic, a bit in your face. And using MumWarz early, good for her! Grin
