Couldn't see a thread yet.. maybe it's too early.. but needed to talk to people about Strictly with the news today that Zoe Ball and Ian Waite are leaving ITT!

Will Rylan take over full time? Who will become the resident dance expert?

Also, has anyone else seen the clips of AJ and Curtis on Hollyoaks? I do wonder if he regrets quitting Strictly.. I'm
not sure acting is his forte.

Perhaps the producers WANT the judges to be ahem.. 'lively' they're probably all 20 somethings fgs.

Well they can go and play with their cgi and leave the judges to speak to the people who want to hear dancing things.

AAAAWW Tony Beak not's too bad Bacon at least he has a good figure and a bit of a sense of humour, (whispers ) and he doesn't piddle himself by throwing himself off chairs.

For me, Tony Beak tries too hard and has the misguided notion that his quips are hilarious.

I miss Len.

Len and Arlene were the best.
I however do quite enjoy Anton and his "hilarious" quips

I actually miss Len in that he had proper critique, a disdain for faffing, and understood and cared about the rules.

Yes EXACTLY Sandra Strictly has been colour blind for many years. To be lighthearted about it ( which of course I'm aware is not "woke") most of the white people in it try very hard via the tanning booth to become as brown as possible.

I think that Anita is talking rubbish or has been misquoted.

That was her first dance off as well, and she had been bottom of the leaderboard in the previous two years weeks, so people must have been voting for her.

I think she very similar to Katie over all (and stronger at Latin), but Katie was helped along by the "first Anton final in years" thing, where Anita had "the Gleb special".

Woody Cook is the latest "Celeb" rumour. He'd possibly be a good signing, he's Zoe Balls son.

There must be announcements coming soon, I'm guessing this week they will start!

Woody is a student at Bristol uni, it seems unlikely.

I think Woody did a reality show that I didn't watch so he might be recognised from that.

Zoe Ball's family will overtake the Mabuse's for participation at this rate - Zoe and her dad have done Strictly, so if her son does it as well that makes three generations.

Woody - Zoe's DS- was on the circle either last year or the year before. It's the show where you pretend your someone your not or possibly yourself in a apartment on your own and communicate purely via a social media platform

I've seen Woody on Celeb Gogglebox. He comes across as a nice enough lad to be fair.

On Let's Dance Germany they had Barack Obama's half-sister.
Rachel Johnson did the cooking show didn't she, the one that Ed Balls won, but not sure she'd do Strictly.

I was thinking Tracie Bennett might be fun, as she's just left Coronation Street, but remembered she's done so much musical theatre, she'd be a real ringer!

Just seen another rumour that Alan Carr and Tom Daley have both been approached.. I'd like to see them sign up, Tom would be great and competitive I think, but not sure he would sign up for something like this so soon after Tokyo Olympics..?

Alan Carr would be great! IMO Tom Daley is too famous for Strictly. (it'd be like asking Babs Streisand )

I reckon they'll have someone from the olympics in. They usually do, someone who's just retired maybe or later in their career

I'd love the British female weightlifter to go in - she seems like she'd be great!

If Tom Daley goes in, he needs to have a week where he has knitted their costumes!
