I think many of us assumed ages ago the quads would either be adopted or fostered out, like Abi's littlest, or Gemma would win the lottery and piss off to Didsbury with a fleet of nannies.

But no. The quads are invisible. How very realistic.

Watching Classic Corrie it’s really noticeable how much more evident children are to the street. Not in the sense they are in any big storylines like Oliver or Hope but just there: shopping with mum, watching TV in the lounge, playing in the garden. So much more realistic.

Now they are permanently upstairs with no noise emulating

Isn't the lack of children now, due to Covid? Pre Covid the Platts children were often in the sitting room and Hope, Ruby and Jack were more present. Liam was still an occasional presence.

I wonder how Abby will cope and real with Seb's death? I hope she doesn't go back to the drugs and the story shows how friends/family can come together to support her. Hopefully Kevin will be able to help her and their relationship survive. Also, if the police don't track those yobs down, Abby and Roy will be a force to reckon with!

Yes. Roy with his pragmatic approach calming it down but dissecting the facts to find out what happened And Abi who will give them all a knuckle sandwich whilst she waits for Roy's facts!

On a positive note, to cheer us all up, we haven't had Peter's blanket of doom for a couple of episodes. Silver lining, and all that

I’m just imagining Roy and Abby sitting at a table in the cafe while Roy calmly presents his findings to reveal who the culprits are and then says “go get ‘em Abby”, before letting her off her leash.

With Abi looking so glam lately, the age gap between her and Kev seems wider than usual.

Tracey Barlow disappeared upstairs for years to play her tapes and finally came down a different person. Lucky they don't live in bungalows.

Bloody hell. And Corrie have her playing a second-rate spy for a third-rate drug dealer? Bit of a waste.

I wonder if she's enjoying the ridiculous storylines. I suppose with theatre closed, why not!

I saw Tracie B in "Carousel" on stage years ago and she was brilliant. But I really don't like her over-the-top acting in Corrie, I find her so irritating.

You've all solved the puzzle. Tracie-as-Sharon doesn't know how to turn off the luvvie any more.

I think there are some actors who find it difficult to shift between acting on stage and acting on TV.

That's true I think, especially when of necessity Tracie B now has to do so many outdoor and distanced scenes.

Oh I wish they would have a cabaret night in the Rovers but they will have to wait until Maureen Lipman comes back 😀
