Knowing Corrie Asha and Nina will be pregnant. Their babies will grow up and fall in love not knowing the truth about their fathers. Then one day someone will tell them that his father killed her father (or whatever pronouns are relevant) and that's why he's been in prison for life. Then they'll hate each other and get divorced. Of course there'll be children involved there too.

Unfortunately I don't think Corey and Kelly will get life because of their ages, same as with Sophie Lancaster's killers. But great future storyline @WhatWouldPhyllisCraneDo 😂

I was wondering why the writers suddenly made Nina and Seb a couple out of nowhere.

Classic Corrie is just doing R.Nick and R.Brian...his murderer is doing college visits.
I had a crush on R.Brian.
And a mother in law like Ivy.
How awful it all is, we have had local attacks. We have also had a local bad boy turn his life around, I hope Asha or Summer or Amy can have positive futures.

Ok so I’ve rewatched the relevant scenes.

At the canal there was Corey, Kelly, Eli and then 3 other unnamed boys. Eli was the one saying nina’s piercings were skanky and told Kelly to smack her. He was the real instigator there. Corey was there and laughing but didn’t say anything until Nina and Seb left when he said they weren’t letting them get away.

Next scene was Nina and Seb walking past a big bin and Corey, Eli, one other boy and Kelly appear from behind it. Corey starts shouting after Nina and Seb. Calling them freaks, Kelly laughing, Eli joins with name calling. Seb phones his mum and while he is talking he is pushed from behind, Kelly laughs and Nina shouts “Seb” that’s the only name that was said but Kelly’s laughter may have been heard. The name calling was before he made the call. When Nina runs off two people follow her, I’m not sure who the two are but I think one was Kelly as it looked like girls leggings and shoes. so presumably two stay and attack Seb but it doesn’t show anything of them, just shows Seb moving with the impact.

Certainly a case of joint enterprise (if that’s what’s it’s called) if we consider the behaviour from the canal when Eli started the bullying, Kelly assaulted Nina and then Corey was the one who decided to go after them. Hope all 3 are convicted. And whoever the 4th boy was.

I've just rewatched the scenes too. The two pairs of trainers running off were all black with white soles and all black with a white area where the laces are going down to the sole. Not Corey's shoes, they were all white. So he must have attacked Seb. When sebs phone fell on the floor, it slid and hit the kerb, did it break? as it it didn't look like a call was still in place.

Had another look at Kelly's shoes, she was bare.legged and wearing blue/purple/white trainers. Definitely did not chase after Nina.

Oooh so did she stay with Corey and beat up Seb then?

If she didn't beat Seb up, she was certainly witness to it.

Ah, I had assumed the shoe print on Nina’s leg would be Kelly’s as there were a couple of shots of Kelly’s feet in the build up ( I remember thinking they were nice trainers!)
I did not see Seb dying. Poor Abby.

Jesus, I bet the Corrie writers hate us. They probably had the story lines all mapped out and now we've identified who was wearing what trainers they'll have to have a rethink 😂😀😊

Hate us? They love us- we write the stories for them. All we need to do is say a name and the character appeared. Someone upthread mentioned grace and Michael. They’ll be in Monday’s show, I bet.

Yeah.... they love us... they take their lead from us undoubtedly.

Except for the quads in the childrens cupboard. They are in a right old state about what to do with them. As it appears Gemma can go on hen nights and wander aimlessly on the cobbles without them. But we can only assume that Joseph is playing Buckaroo with them up in the cupboard. So that's all OK.

I always wonder how Gemma manages to be out and about by herself all the time when she's got quads. We never see them anymore

The social distancing was more obvious in the past couple of episodes than previously. The lack of physical contact between Abbie & Kevin really stood out, particularly when she collapsed on hearing Seb had died

Chesney is always working in the chip shop or kebab shop, I don't know or care which. Bernie is minding the caff. Paul is now a builder. Maybe Emily is back minding the quads, we just don't see her. Or the awful sister of Hope, she was good with kids.

I've had a couple of wines... but need to ask 'who is Emily?

Emily was never killed off despite her being in her 90's so in theory she could be back but I very much doubt it.
She used to be a handy babysitter and was used often when various parents were out at the Rovers drinking. As for her handling 4 babies who will be crawling or toddling now, flippin hell it is bad enough we don't see them but the story is is so beyond belief as there is not even a fake noisy house full of children in the background.
I honestly can not see how the writers are going to get out of the quads story. Weird indeed.

Whichever writer dreamed up the quads story must have been having a joke with the producers.Never knowing they would go ahead with it.
Now Corrie des to know what to do about them.
Gemma will probably have had a dream about having quads and wake up.That is the only way to get out of it.
She can do shifts in the Rovers and as a PP has already said swans aimlessly around the street and go to a hen night.

Or Gemma get's written out, if I was her, I'd be worried!
