Why don't the OCG bleed when they're shot?

By the sand on the workshop floor, they bed through the exit wounds.

I'm going to stick my neck out and say Hi killed her own mother and it was passed off as suicide. I think she was told something that justified killing her, but has since found out she was manipulated.

Ted has provided her with a reason for not charging Terry, i.e. he is innocent, when she's had no compunction about framing Farida to save her own neck. That'll get used against her at some point.

Jo, not Hi.

And thanks re workshop explanation. Makes sense re heavy equipment etc. Can’t wait to see what’s under there!

The Radio Times listing for ep7 doesn’t list Kate or Jo as appearing in the episode?

I think it’s just shortened, if you look up thr cast list both actresses are in all seven episodes.

I think jo has something up her sleeve. And I think it’s Steve and Kate. I think once it comes out who it is that’s been forcing jo to do these things it will be very different for her.

Could it have been someone else other than Kate or Jo who shot Ryan?

Sorry yes, I know I'm clutching at straws but just find it odd that we didn't actually see Kate shoot Ryan or admit to it, even to Steve.

The trailers out for next episode, I can’t work out anything other than it involves guns and jo is being moved.

Yes I thought that pages ago that it was a third party,,,😃. But they said the gunshot residue was on kates jacket,,,

If it was someone else though, it means Carmichael is clueless as she thinks it’s Kate.

It also would fit as to why they ran.

Judging by what was in their van, I'd say at least one body they were sent to dispose of or there's a cellar with a kidnap victim hidden in it.

And if they are being framed it would be easy for OCG police officer/forensic expert to falsify evidence such as gunshot residue.

I also don’t think Kate would have shot him twice. Even fire arm trained, she’d have just taken him down,

Yes,,but again, it means Carmichael is totally innocent and is just a twat. Because she clearly thinks it was Kate,

@Bluntness100, yes Kate wouldn't kill Ryan. She would want to bring him in for questioning, particularly because he admitted to 2 murders. I thought it odd she just killed him. That is something OCG would do to silence someone.

I understood that - and Steve covering them as he walked back - to be fear that as they don't know exactly who's in charge / pulling the strings, it would be easy to set them up for an 'accident'. It's what I read into Kate being so reluctant to put her gun down - too easy for someone with OCG to say "I thought she was going to shoot" and shoot her, at least when she had her gun she could shoot back.

Yes that’s what I think, jo and Kate knew they were being framed and that’s what caused them to run and what caused jo to say let me hold your gun. They thought Kate was being framed.

It explains fully why the two of them ran like that. Why Kate kept saying she was being framed. Why she wouldn’t stop for police and was trying to get away.

And she’d not shoot Ryan like that, she’d shoot him once and that was it.

@MotherOfGodWeeFella I like your theory that Jo killed her own mother and that is the hold they have over her. Jo said Tommy Hunter came back into her life when she was 15. So she was probably groomed and fed lies about her mum. And we know the OCG have a sort of initiation/proving yourself by getting youngsters to torture/bump off people.

Was anyone else thinking it sounded like kidnapping/ torture equipment that was being listed? I seem to remember hardware being used in a previous series - possibly Steve nearly having a finger cut off? I haven't rewatches earlier series recently though, so that could be a memory of a completely different programme!

Yes that was kiddy Ryan trying to cut the fingers off, but he didn't have the strength.
