Marking my place with a smug Carmichael smile

Chrysanthemum5 · 25/04/2021 23:41

Thank you! Still quite confused by tonight but liking the theory that jo Kate and Steve have something planned

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 25/04/2021 23:48

For the tape "Thanks mate"

Icanflyhigh · 25/04/2021 23:49

Carmichael is in it up to her neck. With Osborne. I just know it

Yes, I think this too.
ContinuousMonotoneBeep · 25/04/2021 23:54

Is Osborne of an age that means he could be the man Jo thought waa her father.

She said something in the interview that made me think H must be a man and made a mental note to put it in this thread after I'd watch. Sadly I appear to have lost the note 🙄

Another question- and I know given my username I should know this - does the length of the beep mean something? Cause that waa a long one? Im sure someone explained it in the threads for the last series

Place marking with a God and the Holy Mother, a Joseph and a wee donkey, three shepherds, two wise men and a partridge in a pear tree....

TedisnotH · 25/04/2021 23:54

Signing in. As you were, wee fella

Osbourne, Dryden, Hunter and Thurwell are all similar age 1965/6 dob. So a bit younger/similar to her mum who was 15, a year older than Tommy Hunter. But I think that they might have meant the man who raised her as a father ie could have been she knew it was her step father as she knew her mum had been raped.

Grin Are you Jenny from Gogglebox? Grin

ContinuousMonotoneBeep · 26/04/2021 00:01

Think there's a good chance in that @DentonsFringeArnottsWaistcoat as I think it's unlikely she wyld describe her mother's rapist as "my fathee"

Well, maybe Jo might.

Sadly no. Jenny is far more sensible and makes actual notes not mental ones like dopey me!!
WeeDonkey · 26/04/2021 00:05

Trots in and takes seat.

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/04/2021 00:05

My usual place marking

Mother of god

Libelula21 · 26/04/2021 00:06

Anyone else disappointed in the sheer farfetchedness of Kate and Jo running away from the scene? So out of character. Why didn’t Kate just arrest Jo and await back up at the lorry park?

SinisterBumFacedCat · 26/04/2021 00:07

Mate

Furries · 26/04/2021 00:09

Got a feeling Chloe might come up with some more of her great detective work next week - diligently getting on with investigating the boring stuff while everyone else is running around creating havoc.

Somebody has to be good at their job Grin
Devoncreamy · 26/04/2021 00:39

I watched it and tried really hard and couldn’t quite understand any of it apart from the Uncle Dad bit.

Devoncreamy · 26/04/2021 00:40

I love Anna Maxwell Martin in this. I keep trying to picture her as the frazzled mum from Motherland and yet can’t, which I suppose is the mark of a great actor.

My theory is that they thought they might be in danger from the OCG. Ryan gave Jo the location so there was a chance someone else knew where they were.
Libelula21 · 26/04/2021 00:49

Caffeine and crochet -

Could well be. But Kate could have calculated that Steve would be en route before the OCG.

I can’t see this all being tied up next week.

I bloody love motherland and am concerned her performance in this will make me hate her in it as she's so hateful in LOD... mother of god!

She's in on something with the higher ups I reckon.
