I've just finished episode 2, and seen the woman who waved at Charli. I cannot get on board with it being someone on a dating site and having caught a young attractive woman by pretending to be Charlie.

I think it is generally people preying on the vulnerable by faking romance and a relationship, yes.

I've just finished episode 2, and seen the woman who waved at Charli. I cannot get on board with it being someone on a dating site and having caught a young attractive woman by pretending to be Charlie.

I think he is not unattractive as an older man and the scammers will put a new personality on him. Add fake wealth and he becomes very attractive.

Omg Tina is so a bunny boiler. She totally egged that guy on to hurt her (actual she threw herself onto the floor causing the injury) so she could milk it for pity and to manipulate him. The whole blurry vision stuff when she saw him talking to the other nurse. She's gonna go DARK

Don't like new reception guy. He seems a bit sleazy.

I thought Fenisha was expecting a love confession not permission to date and was disappointed and perplexed

Re Charlie, if you're catfishing older rich women then you'd want someone older to pull them. You'll be less suspicious of the silver fox that is our Charlie than some random 30 odd year old of you're 60

What do you all mean when you're referring to catfishing?
It was offered as an explanation on this thread, it wasn't mentioned in the episode.

It was given as the reason to why Homophoic Druggie's granny said she knew Charlie and he didn't know her, ditto the young woman that waved at Charlie. The idea being that someone is using Charlie's image and name to catfish women. Does seem like a plausible explanation as to why women know Charlie but he doesn't know them.

Only problem is why Charlie's identify would be used!! But in Holby we have had to suspend disbelief before - once or twice...
