I've watched the first 4 episodes. I can't see any more available. I assume I can't stream them all?

Yes! I came across it on the 'more like this' page from MoE and decided to click it because of him - huge greys fan but actually don't like Derek that much, I have to say he wasn't the reason I kept watching, I really liked the entire cast.

Evidently the costume designer got inspiration from hanging out at Wawa and watching the customers.

Similarly with Richard/Guy Pearce, I expect we're going to see more of Deacon Mark (James McArdle) because the actor is well-known and respected in the theatre world - anyone see Angels in America? - and barely been featured so far so I now think Erin confided in him about her abuse at the hands of her father. But he didn't kill her.

I'm sure that Mare's mum is Dr Weaver from ER.

No, it's Jean Smart. She's been in several tv shows over the years and has won a few Emmys. She does look like Laura Innes, now that you mention it!

Jean Smart is one of my all time favorite actresses. She first became well known in the US sitcom Designing Women. Two of her Emmys are for guest appearances as Frasier's girlfriend and former high school crush in Frasier. She is equally good in comedic and serious roles, which she sort of combines in Mare of Easttown. Sadly, she recently was widowed (she met her husband Richard Gilliland while working on Designing Women).

The mum is Lana in Frasier?! I knew I recognised her. She's a brilliant actress. God, this makes me feel old though.

I think the DNA test can only identify whether or not a particular man is the father by comparing his DNA with the child’s. If they sampled Erin’s DNA it would show she was the mother, which we know. I think there has to be a male sample in order to do the test.

Is Kenny in custody for trying to kill Dylan or did he do a runner?

I think you’d expect a child to share 50% of its DNA with its mother, but if the baby’s father was also its grandfather then it would share more than 50% of its DNA with its mother? But perhaps they haven’t done that check.

There was certainly something very menacing about Kenny’s interactions with Erin. I also would be disappointed if it’s the deacon because it seems too obvious. Then again, why was he disposing of the bike?!

I read the other day that the actress playing Drew's mother is Kevin Bacon's daughter and now I can't unsee the resemblance!

I think her eyes though are just like Mark Wahlbergs, though she does have Kevin’s chin and cheekbones
