Ok, I've started a new one in anticipation of Thread 3 filling up tonight, part way through the episode!

I don't think Steve said 'he'. I think he said 'it's identified over the page' and then referred to 'the individual'. The photo was definitely Jo but as others have said most likely because of the first DNA match. I have also rewound it a lot!

He defintely says he, I rewound it and listened again,,😃

oooh....and a number of people have commented on Jo's very sort, slow and deliberate manner of speech. What if she DROPS THE FAKE ACCENT...........

He definitely said his DNA and he is identified.

Well , I knew the DNA find would matter. It was obvious Jo's DNA would be there so there needed to be more to it.

I mean Tommy Hunter is obvious.

So probably not him then.

An wondering what the 'race angle ' is that Lakewell was hinting to Gail about.

On a sad note, Sarah Hughes , the Guardian journalist who has written a blow by blow Line of Duty blog since season 1 died earlier this week .

Her brilliant, incisive recaps of both previous series and the current series are available on the Guardian website. She loved the series, was a consummate fan and great at picking up those little clues and red herrings that we all love.

I will never get over what happens to some of the strike team members as long as I live. Well, all of them in fact in different ways. The last couple of series are literally perfect television. Never bettered IMO.

Photo was Jo, I’ve rewound about 20 times!! I guess the ‘he’ is in print against her photo. I’ve said from the beginning that I think she’s John Corbet’s sister, I thought the photo of her mum was Anne Marie.
What does Pilkington have on Jo that he can tell her to keep him in??

I saw a clip of the Ryan actor being interviewed this week. A 'naice' young man - which shows how well he acts.

I think Chloe is definitely dodgy, she is the leak from AC12 that enabled the ambush to happen and her supposed inability to climb the van and open the door is what led to the death of Jonesy.

Yes maybe the race angle is relevant. Maybe it's partly about white supremacists infiltrating the OCG and the police, and that's why the two officers who've been killed so far have been black, and Gail Vella. Not sure I believe this theory, just putting it out there.

I think Tommy Hunter is Jo's uncle. Her curly haired mum is curly haired Tommy's sister.

I thought it odd that James Lakeland called Chloe by her first name but called Steve by his surname. Did James know Chloe?

Yes, that also struck me as odd when he said it.
