Anyway... Corrie in 1998.

I would have thought so. Usually they leave a few weeks in between in the hope we’ll forget the old head.

She' wasent a great actress though Apparently when they were bringing Tracy back they invited her to audition for the part ,and then cast another actress how gutted would you be!

I remember that. I saw her on a ‘Where are the soap kids now?’ programme and she said she regretted re-auditioning; that she should have told them they either wanted her back or they didn’t.

Andrew Whyment (Kirky) had a one episode part as a character called Wayne - he then reappears as Kirky in 2000 so not long.

The bed sit reminded me so much of the sort of houses I could afford to live in the late 1990s though I could never afford proper bedsite had to share the kitchen as well as the bathroom. It was hell on Earth trying get ready for work on shift never knowing if you could even get in bathroom have a wee or brush your teeth.

I thought the job might be working in a slaughter house or something. Why is he against the benefit agency? Doesn’t he believe in the welfare state or think people should starve or go looking in bins!

No I think it's the opposite he believes people shouldn't be pushed into work by the job centre and should be able to live on the welfare state without pressure .

Must be least oct/nov Toyah been at college good 6 weeks or so. Though no one has mentioned the millennium bug or talked about big party’s yet. It felt quite big thing at the time oh what you doing for new year. Even if turned out just as boring as every new year! We expected some sort of system to break down with all the digits and time changing. Wonder what disaster will strike at midnight.

Yeah I remember it being a big let down ,I also remember ,that a lot of pubs and clubs were closed as they got to greedy and wanted to charge people ridiculous amounts entry ,so lots of people had house parties .
