Anyway... Corrie in 1998.

Toyah’s GCSE results were very similar to mine - expect I got a Double D for Combined Sciences, and my A was in English Literature And without any help from Ken Barlow!

What is she studying at college did they say? Surprised her family didn’t say get a job I’m roughy same age and to stay on at college I had get part time job and pay to stay in education. They only had my CB and I had to top it up.

It made me a bit that Gail and Martin needed a baby sitter to look after Sarah -Louise and David ,considering Sarah -Louise is going to get pregnant any time now .

I hope Sidney’s daughter spent some of that inheritance on a hairdo. God knows it was needed.

Thanks for heads up, shame got rid of Alison so fast though. The Ashley story line has been going on and on and on for months just so he can decide never to see her again. They never make it last 6m these days.

Bethany was born early June 2000 so any time now. Alison hasn't been got rid of - she reappears soon.

I wish Gail and Sarah would occasionally just text Bethany. They seem to be no contact. What date are we in classic?

Sarah didn't find out she was pregnant until she was about 5 months gone I think, so it could be around January 2000.

I’m looking forward this story line as she looks about 10 at the moment. I presume she has new head. It’s just September as toyah just started college

Oh good, so Christmas is coming soon there used to be a nice drama at Christmas. Not like nowadays where mass shooting or infrastructural collapse is more likely!

Young Tyrone is a sweetheart,I love how jack and Vera treat him as their own ,jack hates the stuffed pigeon but vera knows saying that would hurt Tyrone so wants it on the mantle piece ,lovely relationship between them .

Fun fact ,I was in Manchester city centre yesterday and bought some cheese off Martin platts ( aka as Sean Wilson ) stall at the Xmas markets 🤣
