He was in Playing the Field, if you ever used to watch that; he was a similarly creepy character in that too.

Does anyone else think the Steve and Fiona storyline is a bit rushed? I know I felt that at the time, and it seems even more obvious now. Steve spent the best part of two years pining for Fiona - he’s barely got her back when he’s moaning about sharing her with a baby and then shagging her best mate!

I get the impression that Angela Griffin’s decision to quit was quite sudden; hence the plot wasn’t what it could have been.

This OT is strange on NhS lucky if see someone once never mind hours at your house everyday or the pub!

Yes, Jim and the occupational therapist (or occy as my Liverpudlian mate would say) is a ridiculous storyline. These people don’t have time to sit around in pubs with patients! They’ve always been overworked.

Greg is a superb villain. He fooled everyone except Janice from the outset. Anne Malone is another excellent wrong’un.

I thought the scriptwriters did an excellent job of amending the Anne and Curly storyline to allow for Kevin Kennedy’s absence. Obviously they got quite lucky in terms of what had already been filmed, but if you didn’t know Curly was supposed to still be around, you’d think his exit was deliberate.

Yes, he went into rehab. I think he’s absent for about four or five months.

If I remember rightly I think she had an ongoing eating disorder too.

Yes her Dad was quoted as saying she was surviving on three bottles of wine and a packet of crisps a day ,she was incredibly slender

Yeah that's right x2boys & I still think she was a great actress despite all her issues.

Yes she was and tbh you wouldn't know from her acting ability she was struggling .

I really think the show today could do with a Maxine-type character; a feisty, fun-loving young woman prone to mistakes with men. Maybe Dee Dee Bailey could fit the bill? God knows that family needs livening up.

In the 90s it was 4 episodes the week. So two days for us on catch up. I love how some stories like builders have Been going for months! Or jack and Vera and the pub now it’s one major dramatic story line one after the other.

Sally is getting right on my nerves with her constant whingeing about the girls. Greg is certainly having to work bloody hard for the cash.

Alan Partridge. He played the head builder. He was very funny! He was also in Making Out, if you remember that show?

I am little bit behind with my episodes but yes he was in Making Out which I used to love so much. And Gemma's Mum in MC played his bit on the side Rosie!

And Sharon in MC was also in Making Out. And Tyone's Mum - Margi Clarke. Wish they would show it again on one of these channels.

I will get back to watching Classic Corrie now. I like Maxine a lot watching it back but wasnt so keen on her at the time. And I never realised how angry Kevin is, he's so aggresive to everyone but especially Sally.

What do people think about Les Battersby or Greg Kelly returning to MC? I know the actor playing Les got into trouble, but they could recast or forgive him if it was a minor offence.
