PSA.

Back on Wednesday 7.4.21.

I’ve been watching online. It’s an absolute belter of a season back on top form. Can’t wait to watch again.

They constantly have masks on Incorrectly. It drives me bonkers. The metal bit is t is supposed to tighten over the bridge of your nose. Not the end!! And yes, those stupid spacesuits aren't correct either

SpanishFly · 10/06/2021 23:10

It's changed days now with Greys, I have an episode to watch, but I don't even care. And this thread has a handful of comments since last week. It's lost all of what made it so watchable and interesting.

vjg13 · 11/06/2021 07:52

I'm just hoping that the bloody beach scenes have finally finished!

SpanishFly · 11/06/2021 10:38

Agreed. Was a nice idea for like 1 or 2 episodes, but enough already

AnnieP1 · 11/06/2021 13:11

Agree completely with some comments on here about this season. I never thought I would fast forward through episodes but find I am doing this every week now. Uninteresting characters and too many of them! How different from the first few seasons - engaging characters that you cared about. The main character has been in bed for the season with ridiculous beach scenes in her head!! Not impressed with all the preaching either.

HauntedDishcloth · 13/06/2021 12:08

Wrt the PPE: the tube down the back is not for oxygen; it's just to blow air in lightly enough to maintain a positive pressure so contaminants can't enter. But agree it's generally not great.

Fedupwantchocolate · 18/06/2021 21:30

I’m so sad at how awful this show has become....it’s just a boring preachfest every week. This weeks episode has pushed me over the edge....RIP Greys Anatomy

Oh interesting, I’d been wondering wtf those were for.
Justme10 · 23/06/2021 22:56

Maybe it's because he's so skinny now but Patrick Dempsey looks ill in tonight's episode.

Hopefully Meredith will stay awake for the rest of the season it's been pretty boring without her.

Wanttocry · 24/06/2021 09:49

Seeing Zola’s room in yesterday’s episode made me wonder how big is that house?
There’s a bedroom for Meredith, Maggie, Amelia/Link/Baby, Zola, Ellis, and Bailey? So 6 bedrooms? At least four of which are doubles (as we’ve not seen Ellis’s or Bailey’s).
I’m sure back in the early seasons there were 3 bedrooms on the main landing and then someone slept in the attic room (I remember this being a bone of contention with someone).

I have enjoyed seeing the garden this season though, I’m sure we’ve never seen it before. Obviously they wanted to do as much filming as possible outside.

frugalkitty · 24/06/2021 15:34

Well, I have finally finished my rewatch of the first 16 seasons! The earlier seasons were so much better though.

Obviously I've been reading all the spoilers for S17 but I'm still quite excited to watch it anyway.

vjg13 · 24/06/2021 17:18

Agree about Patrick Dempsey, he looked unwell.

I was thinking the same thing! I can only think they have renovated the attic to make a proper room and maybe turned the study in to a bedroom?

It was Lexi who stayed in the attic, I think she was unhappy April got a room while she was in the attic Grin

I’ve always loved Greys. I’ve re-watched up to series 14 about three or four times now but I miss old Greys. I feel like they’ve run out of story lines. The characters aren’t particularly interesting and it’s all a bit meh. It would be good to have a dignified send off for it.

Maggie I want to like but find her dippiness a bit of a chore to watch. There’s no character I really feel particularly drawn to anymore. I find I watch greys because of how I’ve felt about the historical episodes rather than now. I’m also not a huge station 19 fan. I feel like that doesn’t have legs to be honest.

Wanttocry · 24/06/2021 20:24

Definitely. I don’t want to stop watching because I feel like after so many years I want to see how it all goes. But I don’t watch episodes as soon as they air anymore, and although I watched the first dozen series quite a few times, I wouldn’t rewatch the recent ones.

juicey09 · 24/06/2021 21:19

I have just finished re watching it all (again) and am up to date with the new ones too.

I actually quite like the beach scenes - especially with Derek. I got emotional last night!! It's just knowing the history.

But I agree - i think what keeps me watching is the history. The episodes are pretty mediocre at the minute.

And so much happens in station 19 that relates to GA but if you don't watch S19 you'll miss big storylines.

The house - I was thinking about this. Is it supposed to be Ellis's house? I wondered if it was supposed to be a different house, it looks totally different. But I guess we never saw the garden in earlier series.

Last nights S19 - it was ridiculous. Utterly ridiculous!

Wanttocry · 24/06/2021 21:22

Yeah it is the same house. But they knocked down the wall between the living room and the kitchen/dining room when Meredith moved back in after Derek died so it looks totally different.

SleepingStandingUp · 26/06/2021 12:04

I liked s19! i know it was a bit random and felt like a filler episode but i enjoyed it anyway.

i do think they need more bloody fires though!! i'm holding out on watching 911 until i finish s19 but i do hope they've managed to do more fires!

Wanttocry · 27/06/2021 12:50

Im just watching this week’s S19. I’m only half way through but it is absurd that both Miller and Warren would jump in without alerting anyone else. How stupid can you get.

Alwaysthemiddle · 27/06/2021 13:03

@Wanttocry, I thought that. Why wouldn’t you sound the alarm when you’d seen someone jump in already?!

SleepingStandingUp · 27/06/2021 14:32

Well Miller totally would, Warren tried shouting for help but I guess instinct is to dive in. He does think he's the bee's knees

Poor Miller. When Vic said she loved him, she totally didn't mean it like he did.

HeyGirlHeyBoy · 01/07/2021 23:54

Did you all get two episodes in a row this week? Finally a glimmer of old Greys, love Jackson and April Smile

Justme10 · 02/07/2021 08:17

Oh I only saw 1, was there 2?
I will need to check but I found it pretty boring to be honest

Boredsillyathome · 02/07/2021 10:22

Sky only recorded 1 episode not 2, not watched it yet though

SleepingStandingUp · 02/07/2021 12:06

I got 1, the Jackson and April one
