I was looking at the schedule for today in Barcelona.

Paire is due to play- wonder waht kind of mood he will be in today? .

Tsonga is playing today. Seems like ages since I last saw Jo-Willy play!

I hope Jo-Wilfried wins.

I would be perfectly happy with Benoit being double bagelled. Then he can stomp right off, via collecting his prize money for sweet FA, and moan again about how bad his life is

Lovely day in Barcelona- but no crowds, so he will find something to complain about, I'm sure.

I had to go out. I see Benoit is indeed losing. There seem to be quite a few people watching too (well, relatively speaking ).

Not a great day for the French players because I think Simon lost too? Although Pierre HH and Chardy won?

Nishikori has just won- another player I haven't watched for seemingly ages. I hope he stays fit and gets to play Tokyo. I've a feeling he might retire soon after that. He's not had the best of luck, injury wise, of late.

It's very odd, because of course there is no commentary.

although after a week of Robbie Koenig, maybe it's a blessing.

Just getting chance to watch today- the very young Danish player, Rune, has been holding his wn against Ramos-Vinolas. He's got the trainer out now though.
In doubles Salisbury and Ram took the first set of their match 6-0 against Pella and Garin.

Well, Rune did well to get the match to a tie break, but was out of his depth when it got to it.
Evans/Skupski are currently 4-4 against Kontinen/Roger-Vasselin, so their pursuit of doubles greatness is no letting up .
Dan is in his green top- which matches the ball kids, this week , rather than the background.

I saw the champions tie break. Really didn't think Neal and Dan would come through!

kazza when I was watching the tie break, it did not start well- next thing, they were trading match points! .

I have got so used to the silence, that it took me a while to realise there is commentary on the Tiafoe match .

Just saw the end of PHH/Goffin - PHH had a very impressive man bun which was even more impressive when he let it lose - he has very luxuriant locks! (He’d did lose the match though!)

Well done Dan - apparently he’s been referred to as the Brummie Borg but I think that’s taking things a bit too far!

There seems to be a thing for players wearing long sleeve tops under their t-shirts - just watching Shaggy & Chardy. Not sure if it’s a fashion thing if if it’s cold in Barcelona?

I think yesterday they mentioned it being a bit chilly in Barcelona. But it depends on how you define 'cold'- I remember Rafa saying he was cold in Adelaide, and it was about 20 degrees. Which counts as a heat wave round here .

My mistake earlier. Norrie won yesterday. He has yet to play his match today (against my namesake)

Yes it probably is about 20 degrees which would be scorchio here but means you have to wear a duvet coat in a Spain

I am watching RBA play Andujar- it's exhausting just watching. 4-4 in the first set, and it has been going nearly an hour. .

Poor Dan. Can he not get to enjoy his own moniker instead of being compared to everyone else? Good Evans!
