I like both of them, so i don't really mind who wins, though I'm edging slightly towards Rublev, even though he beat Rafa.

It's not as close as I was expecting. Rublev is struggling a bit.

Stef is playing very well though.

He is . I'm finding it very relaxing to watch. If Rafa was playing I'd be a nervous wreck.

Well, it's been a good week- I really wanted Rafa to win, if only to get a title under his belt, and gain some points.

So Federer has withdrawn from Madrid and Rome. Will play Geneva and RG. I will still be surprised to see if he does actually bother with the latter.

A couple of weeks ago, there was a rumour that Djok might not go to Madrid. We can but hope. .

Fizzy In his postion I think, given the turnaround, he would be wise to prioritise the grass season.
He has missed a number of clay seasons. Given the form of the Next Gen - never mind Rafa- Federer really doesn't have much of a chance.

Yes I think you’re right Raahh - the grass season will be even shorter this year with RG being later

I know that for years, it was always the case that there were only 2 weeks between them.
But that was before pandemics and a certain player being nearly 40 .

I also think Roger will want to play at the Olympics, so scapping clay would be a wise move. And it's not like it's the first time.
With the best will in the world, he ain't never gonna beat Rafa at RG.
And he will struggle with Djok at Wimbledon, in all fairness .
